摘要： Coaxial disk armatures, counter-rotating through an axial magnetic field, act as electrolysis electrodes and high shear centrifugal impellers for an axial feed. The feed can be carbon dioxide, water, methane, or other substances requiring electrolysis. Carbon dioxide and water can be processed into syngas and ozone continuously, enabling carbon and oxygen recycling at power plants. Within the space between the counter-rotating disk electrodes, a shear layer comprising a fractal tree network of radial vortices provides sink flow conduits for light fractions, such as syngas, radially inward while the heavy fractions, such as ozone and elemental carbon flow radially outward in boundary layers against the disks and beyond the disk periphery, where they are recovered as valuable products, such as carbon nanotubes.

摘要： A method for electrochemically converting a carbon dioxide gas into expected products includes using a member reactor. In the method, a membrane reactor includes a cavity, a solid electrolyte membrane separator, a cathode, an anode, and a fuel cell is provided. A cathode electrolyte and the carbon dioxide gas are passed through the cathode, and an anode electrolyte and an anode active material are passed through the anode chamber at the same time. An electrolytic voltage is applied to decompose the carbon dioxide gas into expected products. The expected products include a hydrogen gas and an oxygen gas which are fed back to the fuel cell to generate electric power.

摘要： An immersion wand device for immersion into a receptacle containing an aqueous metal halide salt solution includes an elongated housing having a handle at a first end and an immersion head at a second end, at least two iridium-coated electrodes each disposed at a distance from one another within the immersion head, a control module to control application of electricity to cause the electrodes to be oppositely charged, and a sensor in communication with the control module for determining a concentration of free available chlorine in the aqueous metal halide salt solution. The control module controls the application of electricity to the electrodes in a manner to perform electrochemical activation (ECA) of the aqueous metal halide salt solution in the receptacle to create an ECA product solution and wherein the distance between the at least two electrodes is automatically adjustable during ECA in response to a measurement by the sensor.

摘要： An electrolytic generator for producing hydrogen and oxygen switches polarities of electrodes to minimize the accumulation of electroplated electrode material driven from one electrode to the other. The generator contains two or more electrolytic cells in a lower portion, with an upper portion, including gas receiving receptacles. Preferably, water extends upward past a division between the upper and lower portions. In a first version, the upper portion, which is attached for gas collection through flexible hoses, is moved from one cell in the lower portion to another when the polarity is switched. In a second version, the upper portion remains stationary while the lower portion is moved to another upper portion as the polarity is switched.
