    • A highly adaptable beverage container insulator is designed for a significant size range of beverage containers. The insulator is tubular with open ends that are formed from two elastic panels. Each panel has straight top and bottom edges with elastic hems. The side edges of each panel are slightly curved to maintain the properties and proper appearance of the insulator. To form the insulator, two of the panels are joined along their side edges to form a tube. The insulator is placed around a beverage container to better insulate the container and maintain the temperature of the beverage located therein. The insulator accommodates significant variation in the size and shape of beverage containers. For example, a smaller version of the insulator is readily adaptable to conform to both a standard twelve ounce soda can and to a ten ounce juice bottle.

    • An insulator wrap for a beverage container is formed by a substantially rectangular body of insulation material. A self-coiling spring strip is embedded in the body along approximately the longitudinal center line. Because the spring strip is curved in lateral cross section, the wrap is held straight when uncoiled to allow easy storage and handling when not in use. Simple manual pressure frees the spring strip to self-coil inwardly to cause the wrap to extend around the container for use. Extended portions of the rectangular body isolate the spring strip from the edges of the body. In one embodiment, the extended body portions are one and one half times as wide as the spring strip. A foam insert is positioned within the elongated concave trough of the spring strip to provide a substantially smooth display surface for graphics and indicia in either the uncoiled or self-coiled states. Stiffening stays are embedded laterally across the ends of the body to provide additional snugging force and to hold the top and bottom corners of the body securely against the container during use.

    • An insulating sleeve for a beverage container is provided. The sleeve is constructed from at least two layers of fabric, and has an integral pocket incorporated between the two layers. Two elasticized fleece fabric panels, each having a rectangular body area and a pocket extension, are joined at their edges and then attached at their ends to form the sleeve. The pocket extensions are folded down between the two elasticized fleece fabric panels to form the integral pocket. The insulating sleeve has indicia affixed to its outer surface. The sleeve provides a beverage cup insulating sleeve that is easily positionable on a beverage cup, and that will remain in position without adjustment. It can be machine washed and used repeatedly, instead of thrown away after use. The sleeve can adapt itself to fit a variety of container shapes, and can be folded compactly for storage when not in use. Additionally the pocket provides a way of keeping a punchcard with the sleeve.

    • A lidded insulator for a beverage container comprising an insulator lid hingedly attached to an insulator body by means of a hinge. An insulator top ring having an insulator top ring bore is attached to the insulator lid. The hinge is made of resilient material possessing material memory tending to urge the hinge into a straight position. This hinge material memory tends to urge the insulator lid into a closed position. The lidded insulator for a beverage container is sized to frictionally admit a standard sized beverage container. Thus the beverage container is held securely within the insulator body, and when the insulator lid is closed on the beverage container, the frictional fit between the insulator lid and the beverage container holds the top closed, and together with the hinge material memory, urges the insulator lid top into sealing relationship with the beverage container opening. An alternate embodiment is disclosed comprising a bullet lid hingedly attached to a cartridge body, and a rim at an extreme of the cartridge body opposite the bullet lid.
