摘要： A machine for cutting up lumps of crude rubber (synthetic or natural) and weighing out an accurate quantity to be fed to a mixer in accordance with a selected formula, comprising two band saws having special blades with teeth having no "set" and lying entirely within the plane of the blades; crude rubber blocks are fed to a first of two band saws on two conveyor belts which pass one to either side thereof, one of the two conveyors being laterally displaceable and able to convey one of the portions into which the block of crude rubber is cut by the first band saw to be cut by the second band saw, the lateral position to which this portion is conveyed determining the relative size and therefore weight of the two pieces into which this portion is cut; all the cut portions and pieces are fed to an output conveyor which feeds them selectively to a hopper under the control of an automatic weighing machine.

The apparatus includes means to rapidly transmit weight of each article to a scale before the article is received in a bag or box, and includes means to impart vibrations in a horizontal plane to the bag or box during filling independently of the weight sensing by the scale.

摘要： Apparatus for delivering a weighed load of fragile articles, such as grapefruit sections, to a container includes a series of vibratory chutes or pans. The first chute receives articles in response to demand from the second chute or pan into which it discharges, so that articles in said pan remain at a one-layer depth. This promotes maximum control of feeding of articles from the pan into a clamshell-type hopper pendantly supported on a weighing scale. When the required weight of fragile articles is accumulated within the hopper, the clamshell sections open automatically to discharge the weighed load into a filling chute leading to an open top container. Syrup is introduced into the filling chute when the hopper opens in order to lubricate the filling chute and to facilitate entry of the fragile articles one by one into the container along with the syrup.

摘要： The invention relates to a weighing machine for weighing portions of material, which weighing machine comprises a frame structure on which a central distributor, a plurality of linear conveyors and a plurality of scales are mounted, and wherein the linear conveyors are arranged around the central distributor and each is configured as a conveyor duct suspended in relation to a counterweight by means of spring elements extending between the conveyor duct and the counterweight in such a manner that the transport duct is, by means of a vibrator intended therefore, caused to vibrate in a vibration pattern causing it to transport, during the vibration, maerial from the centra distributor and radially outwards to the scales. The invention is characterised in that the counterweight for each of the transport ducts in the linear conveyors are constituted of the frame structure of the machine, the spring elements for each transport duct being mounted directly on the frame structure.
