摘要： The various embodiments of the present invention disclose a method and system for performing Hybrid Repeat Request (HARQ) in cellular operations over unlicensed bands. The method comprises of checking, by an eNodeB (eNB), whether an unlicensed channel is occupied by a User Equipment (UE), initiating transmission of Redundancy Versions (RVs) corresponding to a HARQ process on the unlicensed channel if the unlicensed channel is occupied by the UE, verifying if a channel occupancy period is over and an acknowledgement for the HARQ process is received from the unlicensed channel and initiating a Redundancy Version (RV) bundling for retransmission of the bundled RVs without awaiting an acknowledgment for the HARQ process from the unlicensed channel, if the channel occupancy period is not over.

A repository is associated with the answering node, the repository including a data structure including a plurality of user profiles associated with a plurality of users. In the answering node a user profile of the plurality of user profiles is associated with the user. The method comprising the steps of assigning a unique user index to each user profile in the data structure, wherein the user index is representative of the location of the user profile within the data structure, communicating at least one user index to the requesting node, incorporating the user index in the request by the requesting node, transmitting the request from the requesting node to the answering node, and retrieving the user profile associated with the user associated with the request by the answering node on the basis of the user index.

摘要： A method and an apparatus for processing a call to an aggregate endpoint device over a network are disclosed. For example, the method receives a session request by a Serving-Call Session Control Function (S-CSCF), wherein a route header for the session request comprises an aggregate endpoint identifier, and interacts with an application server to receive a Public User Identity (PUID) of the aggregate endpoint device in accordance with the aggregate endpoint identifier. The method performs a termination processing for the session request using the PUID of the aggregate endpoint device, and forwards the session request towards the aggregate endpoint device.

An input identifying a user of the UE is received at the UE. One or more credentials based on the input are transmitted from the UE to an identity management system. User data comprising a MSISDN attribute corresponding to the user are received at the UE from the identity management system. An IP Multimedia Private Identity (IMPI) associated with the UE and an IP Multimedia Public Identity (IMPU) based on the MSISDN attribute are then transmitted from the UE to a registrar.

摘要： In one aspect, the invention provides a method, and associated apparatus for re-registering a contact address of a user of an IP Multimedia Subsystem, IMS, network. A request for re-registration of the contact address is received at a Serving-Call Session Control Function, S-CSCF, node serving the user. After a determination that the S-CSCF has no stored information relating to the contact address, a request is sent to a Home Subscriber Server, HSS, of the user to register the contact address information. The HSS detects if the contact address information relating to the user has already been backed-up by the HSS, and notifies the node serving the user of registered contact address information backed-up by the HSS. Another aspect provides a method and associated apparatus for de-registering a registered contact address of a user of an IP Multimedia Subsystem, IMS, network.

The usage limit data can state maximum number of simultaneous communications, or maximum number of second identifiers belonging to said collection, and can be dynamically updated according to traffic load conditions in an apparatus of the telecommunications system. The invention prevents overloading resources in telecommunications systems when the number of eventual users can not be foreseen.
