摘要： The invention is directed to a receiver arrangement, for example, in a mobile radio, which allows the use of slowly locking phase locked loops for a point-to-point connection between two transceivers, even in the case of a heterodyne receiver structure. The need to change channels between a transmission slot and a reception slot is avoided by virtue of a changeover device being provided for the purpose of interchanging the in-phase and quadrature components at the input side on a down-conversion frequency mixer. This advantageously allows either the upper sideband or the lower sideband of a useful signal to be down-converted without the need to change channel.

The double-sideband amplitude-modulation final I-F signal is generated by combining the VSB signal with its image.

摘要： A radio frequency (rf) receiver adapted to receive a number of different digitally modulated rf input signals such as quadrature amplitude modulated (QAM) and vestigial side band (VSB) rf input signals includes circuitry for down converting the rf input signals to an intermediate frequency (IF) range having a center frequency fc2 and a bandwidth of Bhz and converter circuitry for sampling the IF signals and then producing corresponding baseband signals. In a preferred embodiment, the intermediate frequency signals are applied to a sample and hold circuit which is sampled at a frequency fs and whose output is coupled via a low pass filter to an analog-to-digital converter whose output is then applied to a Hilbert filter for demodulating the sampled signals and producing baseband signals. In-phase (I) and quadrature (Q) signals are produced whose phase and amplitude are not a function of different components and their tolerance of different conduction paths, as in the prior art.

摘要： A wireless microphone with the remote transmitter using a duplicate of the radio frequency determining circuits of the radio receiver to insure that the remote transmitter frequency tracks the temperature drift of the radio receiver frequency, and also with a compressor to reduce the dynamic range of the sounds captured by the microphone. The superheterodyne radio receiver having small size and low current consumption by wiring the elements of the receiver in series rather than in parallel with the battery avoiding the use of switching regulators and also by using the same amplifier to amplify the antenna signal and the local oscillator signal and by adjusting the local oscillator current based on the strength of the received radio signal. The wires between the radio receiver and the speaker are part of the antenna for the radio receiver.
