The invention is features dual heat sources enclosed in a thermally isolated chamber within the invention. Since the activation of the switch is dependent upon the ambient temperature of the environment, it opens and closes at sufficiently random intervals to simulate human activity. This embodiment includes the use of a photoelectric sensor to further vary timing of the switch actuation.

摘要： A switch and method are provided for turning on and off an electrical device. The switch includes a control module, having a time module and an electrical output to which an electrical device can be connected. The time module includes a clock which is programmable to disconnect power to the electrical device at a set-off time. A light sensor is operatively associated with the control module and transmits a light signal to the control module based on light level. The control module is adapted to provide power to the electrical output when the light module indicates that the light level is below a threshold level and the time is before the set-off time thereby providing power to an electrical device connected to the electrical output.

摘要： A pressure sensitive apparatus includes a mat and a speaker box. The mat has a first contact plate, a second contact plate, and a compression spring positioned between the first and second contact plates thereby creating a space between the first and second contact plates. The speaker box includes a speaker and a power source connected to the speaker. The pressure sensitive apparatus further includes a connecting means for connecting the power source to the speaker through the mat. Upon applying a pre-determined amount of pressure on the mat, a bias force of the compression spring is overcome and compresses the compression spring thereby causing the first contact plate and the second contact plate to contact one another completing an electrical circuit between the power source and the speaker and causing an audible sound to be emitted from the speaker.

By replaying such learned sequences to controlled devices whereby the devices are turned on at off, the on/off sequences appear more natural making a building or dwelling appear to be occupied. The realistic control of devices mimics occupancy of a dwelling. In a learn mode, an intelligent control system records and stores the on/off events of controlled devices in the dwelling. In a run mode, the intelligent control system replays the on/off events thus reflecting the usage patterns of the resident.

Preferably, while the floodlights may remain “on” for an extended period of time, the buzzer alarm is connected to a buzzer time delay (22) which shuts the audible alarm “off” after a predetermined period of time.
