    • A rotor assembly for a turbine includes a substantially enclosed, cylindrical outer housing that is shaped to define an interior cavity into which a rotor is disposed. The rotor includes a main rotatable shaft in coaxial alignment with the outer housing and a plurality of pivotable blades, each blade being connected to the shaft by upper and lower spokes. In use, fluid flow enters into the interior cavity through a selectively enclosable inlet port in the outer housing, applies force to blades within the primary fluid flow path which causes the main shaft to rotate, and exits the interior cavity though a selectively enclosable outlet port in the outer housing. As the main shaft rotates within the outer housing, a control mechanism maintains each blade in a position of limited resistance when located outside the primary fluid flow path in order to maximize efficiency.

    • An impulse wind machine comprises the following: A funnel configured to capture air from the wind. A turbine housing configured to direct the air to the center (eye) of the housing where the air passes through directional vanes. A rotor configured to rotate within the eye of the turbine housing and configured with impulse blades along the longitudinal periphery. Air from the directional vanes impinges the impulse blades to cause rotor rotation. An exhaust deflector configured inside the cavity of the rotor to deflect exhaust air from the impulse blades axially out the ends of the rotor. Spokes on the rotor configured to provide a fan action during rotor rotation aiding removal of the exhaust air. A generator and a gearbox driven by a shaft connected to the rotor for generating electrical power.

    • The wind turbine funnel includes a frame rotatably mounted to support about a rotational axis. The frame includes an inlet having a funnel directing incoming wind towards a turbine wheel disposed adjacent the funnel. The funnel includes an angled upper, main deflector and an optional, angled lower deflector disposed between side panels. The turbine wheel includes a plurality of curved wind blades radiating from the axis of the wheel. The blades are configured to maximize conversion of the wind energy into rotational force for the wheel. The center of gravity of the frame and turbine is disposed behind the rotational axis to permit free rotational adjustment of the frame with respect to wind direction with minimal force. The side panels may include raised sections that function as a rudder.

    • A power installation is proposed for conversion of airflow energy into compressed air energy used by a pneumo-motor or/and by an electro-generator associated with a control system. An embodiment of the installation comprises a number of turbine units arranged in box-sections serving as the walls and roof of a truck. The turbine unit includes X-shaped members supporting a shaft with a turbine driven by a resistance airflow appearing during movements of the truck. The rotation of the turbines is conveyed to a pump, charging a tank with compressed air, used for driving the truck. In embodiments the turbines' blades may comprise a load and may revolve in mutually opposite directions. The installation may include an additional compressor, or may include a first muff connecting the pneumatic motor to a power train, an additional fueled engine, and a second muff connecting the fueled engine to the power train.
