    • The invention relates to a channel plate adapter for use in a cover of a rotor housing of an open-end spinning device, whereas a rotor (2) is rotatably arranged in the rotor housing, with an output fiber channel (3), which conveys fibers (4) to the rotor (2), whereas the fibers (4) enter at an inlet side (5) of the output fiber channel (3), from which the fibers (4) exit at an outlet side (6) of the output fiber channel (3) to the rotor (2). In accordance with the invention, the output fiber channel (3) features a bend (7) between the inlet side (5) and the outlet side (6), whereas the bend (7) bends a second section (9) of the output fiber channel (3), which is formed between the bend (7) and the outlet side (6) in respect of a first section (8) of the the output fiber channel (3), which is formed between the first bend (7) and the inlet side, against the direction of rotation (DR) of the rotor (2). The invention further relates to an open-end spinning device of a spinning machine with a fiber channel for guiding fibers into a rotor (2), which is rotatably mounted in a rotor housing of the open-end spinning device, whereas the fiber channel comprises an input fiber channel (12), which is arranged in an opening roller housing (11) of the open-end spinning device, and an output fiber channel (3), which is arranged in a channel plate adapter (1) that is insertable into a cover of the rotor housing.

    • An open-end spinning device has a spinning rotor (2) with a rotor groove (25) at its greatest inside diameter in which fibers are collected. A yarn shank (27) extending from a yarn withdrawal nozzle to the rotor groove (25) is curved in the vicinity of the rotor groove (25) counter to the direction of rotor rotation during the spinning process forming a lagging tie-up zone whereat yarn formation takes place. A rotor insert (18) is rotatably supported within the spinning rotor coaxially to the rotor axis. The rotor insert (18) can be caused to rotate in a contactless manner by the rotation of the spinning rotor. The rotor insert (18) comprises a yarn guide conduit (20) that receives the yarn shank (27) to effect a retardation of the rotor insert (18) during normal spinning operation, which significantly improves the stability of the spinning process over known open-end spinning devices.

    • A channel plate adapter 24 is provided for an open-end spinning arrangement 1 having a spinning rotor 3 which turns at a high number of revolutions inside a rotor housing 2 chargable with an underpressure. The channel plate adapter 24 is made of a plastic material, defines the orifice area of a fiber guide conduit and a center through-bore 26 for a yarn withdrawal nozzle 27, and is adapted to be exchangeably arranged in a receiver 22 of a fiber channel plate 10 for closing the rotor housing during a spinning operation. The channel plate adapter (24) has a unitary one-piece clip-on closure (37) at inlet area of the through-bore (26) for centering and fixing the yarn withdrawal nozzle (27) in place.

    • An Apparatus is described for the propagation of the rotary twisting of an open-end yarn from a yarn section in a thread guide to the entwinement point of an open-end spinning apparatus with a spinning element. A provision is made in the longitudinal extent of the thread guide for a thread contact surface, to which surface a vibration element is supplied. The thread contact surface possesses a polished surface and is part of an inlet element on the thread inlet end of the thread guide. The vibration element is connected to a control system, with the aid of which the frequency and/or the amplitude of the vibration generated by the vibration element can be made to match the current operational phase.
