摘要： The present invention relates to a water dispersible polyisocyanate composition bearing urea comprising (a) an aliphatic polyisocyanate or a mixture of aliphatic polyisocyanates or a mixture of aliphatic polyisocyanates with other polyisocyanates; and (b) a reaction product of component (a) with component (c) a polyoxyalkylene amine or a mixture of a polyoxyalkylene amine and a polyoxyalkylene alcohol. The present invention also relates to a water dispersible polyisocyanate composition bearing urea and urea derivatives which is obtained by heating the above composition bearing urea for conducting a subsequent reaction, to increase the numbers of isocyanate functional groups contained in said composition, wherein the urea derivatives include biuret, triuret and tetrauret, and most of them are biuret.The present invention further relates to a water dispersible polyisocyanate composition bearing biuret which is obtained by heating the above composition bearing urea for conducting a subsequent reaction, to increase the numbers of isocyanate functional groups contained in said composition.The present invention another relates to an aqueous resin adhesive which contains the water dispersible polyisocyanate composition of the present invention and an aqueous resin containing active hydrogen reactive groups.

摘要： An ultraviolet-curable composition of the present invention, which is used for a light transmission layer of an optical disk, includes a urethane (meth)acrylate having an isocyanate structure; and at least one of a monofunctional (meth)acrylate and a difunctional (meth)acrylate, wherein the combined amount of the urethane (meth)acrylate, the monofunctional (meth)acrylate and the difunctional (meth)acrylate is at least 90% by mass of the ultraviolet-curable composition. This ultraviolet-curable composition for a light transmission layer is able to realize an optical disk that exhibits excellent durability even under conditions of high temperature and high humidity, minimal decrease in light reflectance, and excellent adhesion between layers.

摘要： A personal safety protective device that includes a lens and a support structure onto which the lens is secured. The lens includes a substrate and a hard-coat layer located on the substrate of the lens. The hard-coat layer has a low surface energy outer surface that is derived from a) an additive that includes at least one of i) a perfluoropolyether urethane that includes hydrolysable silane groups, and ii) an acrylate polymer that includes at least one perfluoropolyether moiety and at least one hydrolysable silane group, and b) a silsesquioxane-based hard-coat composition. The provision of such a lens on a personal safety protective device enables the lens to be durable to abrasion and to be easily cleaned without use of solvents that could shorten the service life of the lens.

摘要： Biuret group-containing polyisocyanates are produced having an isocyanate functionality of at least 4 are prepared by reacting polyisocyanates having a functionality of at least 2.8 with water as the biuretizing agent. Most preferably water is used as the sole biuretizing agent. The preparation is useful as a curing agent in crosslinkable coating compositions. The coating composition can be used as an automotive clearcoat over a conventional pigmented basecoat, or as a basecoat or monocoat or even as a primer or sealer when a suitable amount of pigment is incorporated therein.
