摘要： A golf club (20) having a club head (22) with an interchangeable shaft (40) is disclosed herein. The golf club (20) includes a tube (44, 144) mounted in the club head (22), and a sleeve (46, 146) mounted on a tip end (50) of the shaft (40). The tube (44, 144) includes a tapered portion (60, 160) and a rotation prevention portion (62, 162). The sleeve (46, 146) has a frustoconical portion (72, 172) and a keyed portion (74, 174) that are respectively received in the tapered portion (60, 160) and the rotation prevention portion (62, 162) of the tube (44, 144). The golf club (20) further includes a mechanical fastener (48, 148) for removably securing the shaft (40) to the club head (22).

摘要： A golf club according to one or more aspects of the present invention may have a mass less than 300 g, a length greater than about 45 inches, a swing weight between D0 and D6, a head weighing less than about 200 g, a club-head volume of at least about 360 cm3, a grip weighing less than about 50 g, and a shaft having a tip end, a butt end, and a shaft balance point located no more than 24 inches from the butt end. The shaft may have a torsional displacement angle greater than about 5.5° and a mass less than about 50 g. A coordinate system having x-, y-, and z-axes may have its origin at the center of gravity of the club head. The golf club head may have a moment of inertia of at least about 4500 g·cm2 about the z-axis and a moment of inertia of at least about 3000 g·cm2 about the y-axis.

摘要： A separable putter golf club includes an upper shaft portion with a grip and a lower shaft portion with a club head, wherein the upper and lower shaft portions can be quickly connected and disconnected, while allowing a large amount of force to be transferred there through. The upper and lower shaft portions may be connected by a first and second connector portions, that may be engaged and rotated relative to each other. The first connector portion may include a first locking member having a plurality of outwardly protruding lugs and a guide rod, while the second connector portion may include a second locking member having a cavity and a bore. The bore is adapted to receive the guide rod, and the cavity is adapted to receive the outwardly protruding lugs. During connection, the user engages the first locking member with the second locking member, inserts the lugs into the cavity, and rotates the first and second connector portions relative to each other thereby causing the lugs to fixedly engage the cavity, which causes the upper and lower shaft portions of the golf club to be connected together.
