摘要： Disclosed are a control system and a control method for an automatic transmission, in which a judgment is made whether or not a range selector (31) has been switched to a reverse range during forward traveling of the vehicle. When it is determined that the range selector (31) has been switched to the reverse range during forward traveling of the vehicle, a judgment is made whether or not the vehicle speed is lower than a first vehicle speed and whether or not the period of time that has elapsed until switching from the forward to the reverse range is shorter than a predetermined judgment time. When the vehicle speed is lower than the first vehicle speed and the period of time that has elapsed until switching from the forward to the reverse range is shorter than the predetermined judgment time, a forward/backward changeover mechanism (4) is switched to a reverse mode. Otherwise, the switching of the forward/backward changeover mechanism (4) to the reverse mode is delayed.

摘要： A general neuro-computer and system using it is capable of executing a plurality of learning algorithms, providing an instruction execution speed comparable with a hard wired system, and practically neglecting a time required for rewriting microprograms. The neuro-computer is constituted by a neuron array having a plurality of neurons, a control storage unit for storing microinstructions, a parameter register, a control logic, and a global memory. A host computer as a user interface inputs information necessary for the learning and execution of the neuro-computer to the system, the information including learning algorithms, neural network architecture, the number of learnings, the number of input patterns, input signals, and desired signals. The information inputted from the host computer is transferred via a SCSI to the neuro-computer to perform a desired neural network operation.

When the vehicle is running under a low load/high speed upshift condition having a lower load or a higher speed than a normal upshift condition, the subtransmission mechanism 30 is upshifted from the first speed to the second speed at a lower vehicle speed than under the normal upshift condition, and as a result, both rotation variation in an internal combustion engine 1 accompanying upshifting of the subtransmission mechanism 30 and an increase in a fuel consumption amount of the internal combustion engine 1 due to the shift operation in the continuously variable transmission 4 are suppressed.

摘要： A hydraulic clutch transmits driving torque in a power train of a vehicle. An oil pressure supply unit supplies oil pressure for engagement to the clutch and a controller controls the unit. The controller causes the unit, prior to engagement of the clutch, to precharge the interior of the clutch with hydraulic fluid. The controller counts an elapsed time since the last release of the clutch and shortens the precharge period as the elapsed time decreases, thereby optimizing the precharge state of the clutch.

摘要： A vehicle engine (70) is connected with a belt-type continuously variable transmission (1) via a clutch (32). The transmission (1) transmits torque via a belt (43) between a pair of pulleys (41, 42), and varies the transmission torque according to a supply of oil pressure. The clutch (32) engages by means of oil pressure supplied as a shift lever is changed over from a neutral range to a drive range. An oil pressure supplying device (10, 44, 45, 46) supplies the oil pressure required to transmit torque between the belt (43) and the pulleys (41, 42), and the oil pressure for engaging the clutch (32). Slippage between the belt (43) and the pulleys (41, 42) is prevented during engagement of the clutch (32) by restricting the output torque of the engine (70) over a predetermined period of time.
