    • Provided is a rotary electric machine, including: a stator; and a rotor provided on the stator so as to be rotatable about a rotation shaft, in which the rotor includes, at an outer circumference thereof, magnetic poles arranged so as to have different polarities alternately, the magnetic poles being formed of a rotor core in which electromagnetic steel plates are stacked, the magnetic poles being excited by permanent magnets which are housed in gaps disposed at an outer circumferential part of the rotor core, and in which the rotor core includes, at an inner circumferential part thereof, in the same stack plane: a short circuit magnetic path connecting magnetic pole pieces which form the magnetic poles; and a protruding portion held in contact with the permanent magnets, which is positioned between magnetic pole pieces which are not connected to the short circuit magnetic path.

    • Provided is a rotation angle detecting device with high detection accuracy, which can be structured with a small number of teeth even if a shaft angle multiplier increases, thus enhancing winding workability and becoming suitable for mass production. The rotation angle detecting device includes: a stator formed of an iron core with teeth, the stator including: an exciting winding of one phase or more; and output windings of two phases or more; and a rotor with a salient pole, in which numbers of turns of the output windings of the two phases each have a value obtained by a function containing a sum or a difference between a sine wave of an order equal to an absolute value of a sum of a number of the salient poles and a number of the pole pairs, and a sine wave of an order equal to an integer that is different from an absolute value of the number of the pole pairs of the exciting winding and different from an absolute value of a difference obtained by subtracting the number of the salient poles from the number of the pole pairs.

    • A rotary electric machine according to the present invention includes a stator having a connection member forming a three phase delta connection by coil windings. In the rotary electric machine, the connection member is composed of an insulating annular groove portion formed with double annular grooves and a first, a second, and a third annular conductive members, the annular conductive members being attached by insertion into the insulating annular groove portion; the insulating annular groove portion is formed with double grooves of one and the other, and both the grooves are connected via one window portion; the respective annular conductive members are each formed in a circular arc shape and provided with a plurality of arm portions extended outward in the radial direction of the stator, the plurality of arm portions being connected to coil end portions of the coil windings respectively; the first annular conductive member and the second annular conductive member are attached by insertion into different grooves of the insulating annular groove portion, are overlapped at a part of opened sections where a circular arc is not present, are in a positional relationship in which both annular conductive members are opened, and are attached by insertion so that the window portion is disposed at the position where both annular conductive members are opened; and the third annular conductive member is made such that a portion to be attached by insertion into one groove and a portion to be attached by insertion into the other groove are attached by insertion into the insulating annular groove portion via the window portion.

A front end portion of the respective phase lead wire is introduced to inside the bracket from outside an opening portion provided at the bracket, thereby electrically connecting to the stator winding.
