摘要： A recording or reproducing apparatus for performing recording or reproduction by winding a tape around a rotary drum on which a plurality of heads are mounted includes a tape supply side guide post and a tape take-up side guide post for guiding the tape to the rotary drum, a tape supply side guide member and a tape take-up side guide member for respectively guiding the tape supply side guide post and the tape take-up side guide post, and a sensor for detecting an end portion of the tape. The sensor moves along a space portion formed by the tape supply side guide member and the tape take-up side guide member as the tape is being loaded and is located in the space portion when tape loading is completed.

摘要： A tape loading device .includes a drum base, a rotary head drum mounted on the drum base, and a loading ring rotatably supported on the drum base. The tape loading device loads a tape on a predetermined tape path by the movement of a loading post which is achieved by the rotation of the loading ring. The loading ring has a plurality of protruding portions on an inner peripheral surface thereof. The protruding portions protrude in a radial direction. The drum base has a groove portion on an outer peripheral portion thereof which engages with the plurality of protruding portions and thereby rotatably supports the loading ring.

摘要： A recording or reproducing apparatus which performs loading and unloading operations of a tape relative to a magnetic head unit and moves tape guide members by rotatably driving two loading rings on which the corresponding tape guide members are mounted. Driving force transmission members are provided for transmitting the rotation of one of the rings to the other ring, and elastic members are provided for driving the transmission members in a predetermined direction. The tape guide member mounted on the one ring is pressed against a locating member by the force of the elastic member during loading of the tape.
