摘要： A pacing system for selectively sensing spontaneous ventricular cardiac depolarizations at first and second spaced apart ventricular sites during the time-out of an AV delay and delivering pace pulses to the spaced apart ventricular sites in a triggered pacing mode. The first and second ventricular sites are preferably right ventricular (RV) and left ventricular (LV) pace/sense electrode sites, and RV event and LV event signals are sensed at the RV and LV pace/sense electrodes. A V-A pacing escape interval and a ventricular refractory period, a trigger pace window, an upper rate interval and further post-event time periods are started upon a RV or LV sense event or a first ventricular pace pulse delivered upon time-out of the AV delay. A triggered ventricular pace pulse or pulses is delivered to one or both of the RV and LV pace/sense electrode sites upon detecting an RV sense event or LV sense event during the AV delay. In one triggered pacing mode, a RV or LV pace pulse is delivered upon a RV or LV sense event during the AV delay to one of the RV or LV pace/sense electrode sites. In another triggered pacing mode, a triggered pace pulse is delivered to the other one of the RV or LV pace/sense electrode sites after a triggered pacing delay timed from a non-refractory RV or LV sense event occurring during the AV delay. In still another triggered pacing mode, a first pace pulse is delivered upon a RV or LV sense event, the triggered pacing delay is timed out, and a second pace pulse is delivered to the other one of the RV or LV pace/sense electrode sites after time-out of the triggered pacing delay. Triggered ventricular pacing is disabled during the V-A escape interval. Such a system could be employed in pacemakers that are part of a cardio defibrillator system if desired.

A signal waveform is sensed in a patient using the physiological sensor and a fiducial point associated with the sensed waveform is identified. A point value is established using the fiducial point. Signal artifact is detected in response to the established point value and an established threshold, and at least a portion of the signal waveform is rejected in response to detecting signal artifact.

摘要： A method of determining a respiration parameter in a medical device in which pressure signals are sensed to generate corresponding sample points, and a breath detection threshold is continuously adjusted in response to the generated sample points to generate a current adjusted breath detection threshold. A current generated sample point is compared to the current adjusted breath detection threshold, and the continuous adjusting of the breath detection threshold is suspended and the breath detection threshold is equal to the most current adjusted breath detection threshold generated prior to the suspending in response to the comparing. A next sample point, generated subsequent to the suspending, is compared to the set breath detection threshold, and the respiration parameter is determined in response to the comparing of a next sample point to the set breath detection threshold.

摘要： A system includes an episode classification module and a data retrieval module. The episode classification module receives electrograms (EGMs) from N implantable medical devices (IMDs) and determines whether the EGMs are associated with deliveries of therapy by the N IMDs. The episode classification module analyzes at least some of the EGMs and determines whether the deliveries or non-deliveries of therapy by the IMDs were appropriate. The data retrieval module receives a request from a computing device, via a network, that indicates at least two groups of the N IMDs. The data retrieval module provides to the computing device via the network, in response to the request, data for presentation to a user that indicates for each of the groups, at least one of how many of the one or more deliveries or non-deliveries were appropriate, or how many of the one or more deliveries or non-deliveries were inappropriate.
