    • A bar-like side-emitting light guide suitable for re-directing an incident light beam such that the light beam emerges from each side of the structure. The guide structure includes a light guiding bar having an upper surface and a lower surface and extending along a longitudinal direction. On a cross-sectional plane of the light guiding bar, there is a first line interval on the upper surface. A second line interval, a third line interval and a coupling part are located at the lower surface. The coupling part couples with the second line interval and the third line interval. The distance from the lower surface of the light guiding bar to a reference plane of the upper surface varies such that the thickness gradually decreases from the coupling part to the sides. In addition, a planar light source module can be constructed by arranging the foregoing light guiding bars in parallel.

    • An inkjet printer identification circuit is provided. It comprises a plurality of control lines, a control circuit providing a control signal to the plurality of control lines, and an identification module including an identification unit. The identification unit including at least a control input terminal, an output terminal and at least a data input terminal. The data input terminal being coupled to a memory unit. The control input terminal being coupled to one of the plurality of control lines. The identification unit is responsive to the control signal for determining and outputting a content stored in the memory unit via the output terminal. The control circuit identifies the status of the identification unit based on the received content stored in the memory unit.

    • A multi-function lighting system is provided. A design of multiplex configuration of a multi-diode lighting module and a design of optical time domain modulation of an electric controlling system are applied to a lighting system which senses environmental conditions to automatically or artificially change a color, a light intensity and a color-temperature of a light to influence people's feelings and moods. At the same time, the environmental sensing device further feedbacks an information of humidity or temperature so that parameter of optimum light environment can be set accordingly. The multi-diode lighting module is applied to the design of the lighting system, such that the lighting system can be manufactured in a customization way to meet varied requirements in the landscaping and optical designs, not only reducing the cost and increasing mass production rate but also providing multi-functions including landscaping lighting, ergonomic lighting, plant lighting and air purifying.
