    • There is provided a radiographic imaging system including: a radiographic imaging device including a generating section that captures a radiographic image expressed by irradiated radiation and generates image information expressing the captured radiographic image, and a first communication section that transmits, plural times and by wireless communication and even during a response wait time period, imaging start instructing information that instructs starting of imaging when preparations for capturing a radiographic image by the generating section have been completed; and a control device having a second communication section that can communicate by wireless communication with the first communication section, and a control section that controls a radiation irradiating section such that radiation is irradiated with respect to the radiographic imaging device in a case in which the second communication section receives any of the imaging start instructing information that are transmitted plural times from the first communication section.

    • When a first image capturing apparatus installed in an image capturing room is selected and a power supply switch of a radiation converter used in the first image capturing apparatus is turned on, a controller generates an image capturing apparatus identification signal for specifying the image capturing apparatus, and sends the identification signal together with ID information of the selected image capturing apparatus stored in an ID memory to a console in the image capturing room via a transceiver by wireless communications. The console reads image capturing conditions for the selected image capturing apparatus from an image capturing condition storage unit, and supplies the conditions to a radiation generator for recording a radiographic image in the radiation converter. The radiation generator controls a radiation source according to the supplied conditions to emit radiation for recording a desired radiographic image on a radiation conversion panel of the radiation converter.

    • According to one embodiment, an electromagnetic conversion element positioning method includes: counting a servo clock for every servo sector radially extending on a recording medium, the servo clock being changed in synchronization with a change in rotation angle of the recording medium; reading magnetic information from spiral servo patterns with an electromagnetic conversion element, the spiral servo patterns being arranged at equal intervals in a circumferential direction of the recording medium, the spiral servo patterns having magnetic materials arrayed along a spiral line maintaining a defined inclined angle with respect to a circumferential line over a predetermined radial region; specifying a position of the spiral servo patterns on the circumferential line based on the read magnetic information; correlating the count value of the servo clock with the specified position; and specifying a radial position of the electromagnetic conversion element based on the correlated count value.
