摘要： A particle dispersed glassy material includes ultrafine metal particles that are present in a high concentration. The particles are surrounded by a fixation component and, optionally, can be surrounded by a skeleton forming component. The glassy material is produced by firing a substrate having a film thereon that includes a polymer composite having the ultrafine particles uniformly dispersed therein, a fixation reagent and, optionally, a skeleton forming reagent under relatively mild conditions that do not damage the substrate. A method of making the glassy material includes the steps of making a film-forming composition that includes the polymer composite, the fixation reagent and, optionally, the skeleton forming reagent, applying the composition to a substrate, drying the applied composition to produce a film and firing the film to produce the glassy material.

摘要： A polymer composite includes a thermoplastic plastic polymer having a fine grain metal or metal oxide dispersed therein. Preferably, the fine grains has a size of about 1,000 nm or less. A method of making the polymer composite by adhering a metal layer to a thermoplastic polymer layer in a thermodynamically nonequilibrated condition followed by relaxation of the polymer layer to obtain thermodynamic equilibrium which causes the metal layer to be absorbed by the polymer layer as fine grains is also disclosed.

The camera further includes another detector which detects the direction of zooming operation of the zoom lens, and the detected direction is also displayed. 摘要： A roller is rotatable so that its surface moves in a direction opposite to a photoconductive drum to remove excess liquid developer from the drum. Rolling contact bearings are mounted on opposite ends of a shaft supporting the roller and have a diameter which is slightly larger than that of the roller so that when the bearings are pressed against the drum a slight clearance is maintained between the surfaces of the drum and the roller. The bearings are sealed and filled with a lubricant which does not degrade the liquid developer if mixed therewith. A wiper contacts the roller to remove developer pricked up thereby from the drum. Wipers are further disposed in contact with the drum upstream of the bearings to remove developer from the drum in these areas prior to contact with the bearings.
