    • This invention relates to paper products and/or substrates suitable for being made into wallboard tape (also may be known as joint tape and/or drywall tape) and having improved reduction or inhibition in the growth of microbes, mold and/or fungus. The paper substrate is characterized by its excellent physical properties including cross direction (CD) tensile, machine (MD) tensile, internal bond, wet tensile, hygroexpansivity, curl, bonding properties, bonding of joint tape to joint compound, etc. The paper product of the invention contains a sizing agent and an antimicrobial compound as well as other optional components including without limitation a binder. The paper product of the invention may be produced by contacting the plurality of cellulose fibers with each of the sizing agent, antimicrobial compound, and optional components at any point in the papermaking process, converting process, and/or post-converting process. Finally, the invention relates to methods of using the paper substrate.

    • A box with a wheel assembly platform has a tow strap with a folded position stowed in a recess in the platform and an unfolded position accessible outside the box. In one embodiment, the strap is incorporated in a pre-assembled handle pack positioned in the recess. The strap may be retracted by a torsion spring, and may be coiled in the pack by use of a rotating fork. In one embodiment axles projecting from rollers are supported in recesses formed in the platform, and in another embodiment the axles are supported in notches in the bottom end of cylinders mounted in cutouts in the platform. In a further embodiment a box has hand holes in opposite walls with a spacer panel providing finger access behind the holes. The platform may have hinged panels. A thermoformed skin may be applied to the platform or constitute the platform.

    • Collecting roll data associated with a sensing and mating rolls that form a nip uses first and second pluralities of sensors. Each sensor of the first plurality has a corresponding sensor in the second plurality which is associated with a same respective axial location on the sensing roll but is spaced-apart circumferentially. The sensors are located at axially spaced-apart locations of the sensing roll and generate either a first or second respective signal when entering the nip. Upon receiving a generated signal, a determination is made about which sensor generated the received signal and the membership of that sensor in one of the pluralities. Based upon a rotational position of the mating roll, a determination is made of which tracking segment associated with the mating roll enters the region of the nip concurrently with the signal to store the signal using the determined one tracking segment and the determined membership.
