A seal ring fastened to an axial end portion of the inner-circumferential surface of the outer ring. The inner ring has a first axial end surface on a first side and the outer ring has a second axial end surface on the first side. The first axial end surface is flat and is recessed from the second axial end surface of the outer ring in the axial direction of the rolling bearing. The seal ring is formed into a circular ring shape and includes a seal lip that is made of an elastic material and has a tip-end edge having a sliding contact with the first axial end surface of the inner ring; and a metal core that reinforces the elastic material.

摘要： A sealing device includes a core metal that is fitted to the outer ring, and a sealing member that is fixed to the core metal. The core metal has a cylindrical portion that is fitted to the inner periphery of an end portion of the outer ring, an outer annular portion, and an inner annular portion. The sealing member has a covering portion that covers the outer annular portion and the cylindrical portion, and a space is formed between the covering portion and the flange. The sealing member further has an inner lip portion, and an outer lip portion. The covering portion has a deformed portion used to enlarge the space to suppress stagnation of water in the space.

At least one of the axial labyrinth and radial labyrinth which form the labyrinth seal is formed between an outer-ring-side sealing member mounted to the outer ring and the inner ring or between the outer-ring-side sealing member mounted to the outer ring and an inner-ring-side sealing member mounted to the inner ring.

Recessed grooves are formed in a region of the inner race and a region of the outer race corresponding to the respective flange portions so as to form labyrinths together with the flange portions. Inner side surfaces of the flange portions and axial end surfaces of the recessed grooves, which are opposed to the inner side surfaces of the flange portions, are inclined radially so as to generate a flow of lubricant.
