    • The present invention is a set of at least three interlocking blocks where two of the blocks are set on a ground surface and are connected at their top surfaces by a particular configuration of the underside of the third block. Four square and raised parts with four key recesses are formed on the top side of the entirely plastic and unitarily molded block to mate with a cavity and four flanged posts on the underside of another identical block. The critical part of this invention is providing four key recesses in the raised part of the block into which interlock the flanged posts of the underside of the block.

    • This portable car ramp has two structural components coupled longitudinally together, while allowing limited relative vertical movement when each's bottom edge rest on a medium surface. The first component has an elevated wheel run while the second component has an inclined wheel run. When coupled together, the component wheel runs are longitudinally aligned, meeting at a corner, so that a vehicle wheel can roll up the inclined run, over the corner, and onto the elevated run, and vice-versa. Friction pads fixed to the second component bottom edge increase resistance against ramp sliding along the medium surface, particularly with the wheel supported on the inclined wheel run. The first component has no bottom edge friction pads so that car ramp sliding along the medium surface is possible, such as should the wheel be rolled against a stop on the elevated wheel run.

    • A safety vehicle lift having a base, a lifting assembly, a drive mechanism, a handle, and a ramp. The base is made of flat rigid construction which may be in one or two sections and may be of solid or grated construction. When in two sections, the sections may be permanently abutted with a hinge or may be temporarily abutted with conventional locking mechanisms. The base contains retractable wheels. The base is wider than the structures supported by the base. A drive mechanism is made up of a jackscrew passing through a threaded cross brace. When the jackscrew is turned manually or mechanically, there is a raising or lowering of the support platform. The lift is provided with a ramp having side walls and leading from the level of the base to the level of the support base. The ramp may be of solid or grated construction. The lift has less weight and equivalent strength compared to prior lifts, thus improving mobility. As the base is grated, the lift may be used on a wide variety of surfaces. The retractable wheels add mobility while maintaining safety. As the base is wider than the lifting mechanism and the ramp, greater stability is maintained.

    • A vehicle ramp is shown housing a platform having an upper surface adapted to support the wheel of a vehicle, a generally vertical leg having an upper end supporting the platform rearward portion and an inclined ramp adapted to support a forward portion of the platform and to permit a vehicle wheel to move up to the platform. The inclined ramp includes a longitudinal axis and having opposite sides, a lower end adapted to engage the ground, and including a blade for engaging the supporting surface as a vehicle wheel engages the lower end of the inclined ramp and applies a downward force on the lower end and so as to prevent movement of the vehicle ramp away from the wheel as the wheel moves up the inclined ramp, the blade being an integral portion of the lower end of the inclined ramp. The ramp also includes brace members for providing rigidity and which are conveniently removably joined at their opposite ends to the leg and the inclined ramp.

    • There is disclosed an improved vehicle ramp and supporting device wherein said device utilizes a standard cinder or concrete construction block. The device includes a framework which comprises first and second brackets which are disposed along the longitudinal axis of the construction block and which are configured so as to conform to the contour of the top surface of the block. These brackets include tabs on each end which restrain the movement thereof in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the block. First and second tie brackets are also disclosed. These cooperate with corresponding ends of the first and second brackets and with the sides of the construction block to restrain the movement of the first and second brackets relative to the block in a direction perpendicular to its longitudinal axis. A ramp is disclosed which is removably connected to one end of the framework disposed on the block, providing the means for raising the vehicle from the level of the work surface to the top surface of the block.
