摘要： A method for selectively recovering a metal from mined ore and other metal-bearing raw source materials is disclosed. The method involves mixing with an aqueous medium a metal-bearing ore and/or other raw source material containing a first metal in an insoluble form, insoluble and/or soluble Cr in a Cr bearing material as a second metal, and organic and inorganic compounds to obtain a slurry containing the first metal in an insoluble form, insoluble and/or soluble Cr compound(s), and the organic and inorganic compounds; adjusting the pH of the slurry to an optimal range for Cr oxidation to convert Cr to an insoluble form; optionally adding a first oxidizer to the slurry to oxidize organic and inorganic compounds; selectively leaching the Cr by adding a leaching agent in an amount sufficient to obtain Cr in a soluble form while the first metal remains in the slurry in an insoluble form; filtering the slurry to obtain a filter cake containing the first metal in an insoluble form and a filtrate containing Cr in a soluble form; and recovering the filter cake containing the first metal in an insoluble form and/or filtrate containing Cr in a soluble form.

The carbonization leaching of the scandium-containing material is carried out with a mixture of sodium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate having a Na2CO3 concentration of 130-350 g/dm3 and a NaHCO3 concentration of 2-100 g/dm3 at a pH value in the slurry of 9.5-11.0 and a temperature of 20-90° C. For maintaining the required pH value in the slurry, the slurry is gassed with a CO2-containing gas-air mixture. The scandium concentrate is extracted from the filtrate resulting from the leaching process in one stage by treating said filtrate with an alkaline solution.

摘要： The present invention relates to rare earth metallurgy, in particular a method for recovering scandium from the red mud byproduct of alumina production. The method includes repulping red mud, sorption leaching scandium therefrom with the use of an ion-exchange sorbing agent to obtain a rich-in-scandium ion exchanger and depleted-in-scandium pulp, desorbing scandium with a solution of sodium hydrocarbonate to obtain a desorbed ion exchanger which is returned to the sorption leaching stage and a solution of industrial reclaim scandium which is transferred to obtain a deposited concentrated scandium, wherein scandium is continuously sorption-leached from red mud pulp in the phosphorous-containing ion exchanger in a countercurrent mode upon direct contact of the pulp with the ion exchanger, scandium is desorbed from the organic phase of the ion exchanger by a solution with a concentration of Na2CO3 of 200-450 g/dm3 to obtain industrial reclaim scandium, from which a scandium concentrate is recovered.

摘要： Liquid treatment apparatus comprises at least two chambers being first and second chambers through which a fluid can flow. The two chambers are separated by at least one choke nozzle which has an entrance in the first chamber and an exit in the second chamber. The choke nozzle comprises a converging section at its entrance, a throat section, a backward-facing step immediately after the throat section, and an exit section at its exit wherein the exit section diverges from the step. Similarly constructed mixing nozzles may be included in the apparatus. The apparatus is especially useful in processes requiring a gas to be entrained in a fluid so that the gas is in the form of very small bubbles that do not tend to coalesce and flash off such as in the dissolution of gold and other precious metals from ore and in the removal of arsenic from an ore.

摘要： Disclosed is a microwave chemical method for totally extracting fluorine and rare earth from bastnaesite concentrate, including: alkaline conversion defluorination of bastnaesite through microwave irradiation, microwave-assisted leaching of fluorine, solid-liquid separation of leaching solution and microwave-assisted leaching of rare earth. The rare earth hydrochloric acid solution for leaching contains no fluorine ion, so that the fluorine interference of subsequent processes such as impurity removal can be completely avoided; the fluorine and the rare earth are leached with microwaves, which does not need the stirring, so that the automatic control is easy to implement; the fluorine and rare earth leaching speed is high, the leaching time is short and the complete leaching of fluorine and little residual alkali in the slag can be realized by two-time leaching; and no fluorine-containing waste water is discharged, and the total extraction of the rare earth can be realized by one-time leaching.

摘要： The invention relates to a method for regenerating the extractive potential of an organic hydroxyoxime-based extraction solution used in the recovery of metals by liquid-liquid extraction. The method is two-stage, in which a solid hydroxylamine is used in the reaction stage, and the removal of the undesirable compounds generated in the reaction occurs in the second stage by adsorption purification. The method of the invention is suitable for treatment of degraded oxime metal extractants in various process organic solutions both in aldehyde and ketoxime extractant solutions. The method can also be used to treat a mixture of degraded oxime extractants.
