摘要： A sheet switch module includes a circuit board (20) provided with a fixed contact (22) thereon, a light source (30), a movable contact (26) to face the fixed contact (22), a sheet (28) to hold the movable contact (26) on the circuit board, a key top (46) disposed to face the movable contact and a light guiding plate (32) to guide light emitted from the light source (30) to the key top. The light-guiding plate (32) includes a light-receiving part (34) projecting toward an upper surface of the circuit board (20) and a light-guiding part (39). The light-guiding plate (32) is positioned in a substantially horizontal state supported by the light-receiving part (34) on the upper surface of the circuit board (20).

摘要： A light guide for an optical keypad is described. The light guide includes a light interface surface, top and bottom surfaces, a surface feature pattern, and a cut line. The light interface surface receives light into the light guide from a light source. The light received through the light interface surface reflects according to total internal reflection (TIR) within the light guide between portions of the top and bottom surfaces. The surface feature pattern disrupts the TIR and scatters at least some of the light outside of at least one surface of the top and bottom surfaces. The cut line redirects at least some of the light from a first direction to a second direction within the light guide. The first direction is a direction other than towards the surface feature pattern, while the second direction is a direction substantially towards the surface feature pattern.

When a light is entered into the guide light plate, the light guide microstructures focus and project the light onto the metal keypad panel to allow users to see the position of each press key clearly.

摘要： A side surface light emitting unit illuminates, from its side surfaces, one or more objects to be illuminated which are arranged to extend in one direction on a flat surface. The side surface light emitting unit is provided with a light guide body arranged along the side surface of the objects to be illuminated, for projecting light to the side surfaces of the objects, and an LED arranged at least on one end of the light guide body. In the side surface light emitting unit, the upper surface and the lower surface, excluding the side surfaces facing the objects, are blocked from light. The objects to be illuminated, such as key switches, can be brightly illuminated by unintermittent continuous outgoing light, along the arrangement direction of the objects from one end.

The base sheet includes a dome portion having a concave lower surface, and a flat portion connected with an outer edge of the dome portion. The columnar portion is positioned on the upper surface of the dome portion away from the outer edge of the dome portion of the base sheet. This movable contact assembly provides a switch illuminating its upper surface and being activated easily with a preferable feeling.

The light-guiding plate is disposed in the key module of an electronic device. The light generated by light-emitting elements within the electronic device is introduced from the front end of a substrate of the light-guiding plate, and the light is refracted by the light-guiding portion to a corresponding key, thereby to display the numeral or pattern of the surface of a key cap of the key.
