摘要： A slide projector is juxtaposed with a slide magazine in a housing. One of the projector and magazine is movably mounted so that each slide may be aligned with where it may be loaded into the projector and unloaded back into the magazine. At the loading station a pair of pivotable, opposed toggles operated by an eccentric device frictionally rollingly grip and release two opposite edges of the slide with reversibly driven rollers. In a disclosed elaboration, a plurality of slide magazines are disposed on a spider, which may be rotated to bring any selected magazine into juxtaposition with the projector. In the elaborated version shown, the slide projector is laterally movably mounted for temporary retraction during indexing of the spider.

The aligning force swings a drive end of the actuator arm to one side or the other depending on the polarity of the voltage applied to the solenoid.

摘要： A slide holder for storing and/or transporting a stack of slides is generally box shaped with one open side. Two opposed sides have resilient pads mounted thereon to form spaced slide gripping members positionable on opposite sides of an assembled group of slides. The gripping members are movable toward and away from each other for selectively gripping and releasing the slides. The top wall connecting the gripping members forms snap action, overcenter spring means having a first stable condition for simultaneously urging the members toward each other to the slides and a second stable condition for simultaneously urging the members away from each other to release the slides. The slide holder may be used to transport a stack of slides from a storage container to the magazine of a slide projector.

The selector cooperates with cam faces on one arm and the resetting member cooperates with extensions on the other arm of the lever.

摘要： A system for projecting slides in which the slide to be projected is selected from an input such as depressed key switches. A slide holder subdivided into individual compartments each retaining a slide, is then moved into position so that the selected slide is accessible for projection. A followup switch coupled from the viewpoint of motion, to the slide holder, provides signals of the position of the holder and thereby the location of the individual slides with respect to the projector unit. Indicating circuitry is used to determine when the signals transmitted from the depressed key switches are equal to the signals provided by the followup switch, whereupon the slide holder becomes held in position. A slide changer then transfers the slide from the compartment selected, and into the projecting plane of the projector. The drive for the slide holder is reversible so that the holder takes the shortest path in reaching a selected slide.
