摘要： The latch includes a ratchet and pawl operable to move between an engaged position to hold a striker and a released position to permit the striker from exiting the latch. In addition, a release lever and a lock lever are pivotally mounted to the opposite surface of the latch housing. A lock link lever connects the release lever to the lock lever, having a first end pivotally mounted to the lock lever and a second end slidably located in a slot on the release lever. Actuating the release lever while the second end of the lock link lever is in its locked position pivots the lock link lever in a first arc and actuating the release lever while the lock link lever is in its unlocked position pivots the lock link lever in a second arc to actuate the pawl into its released position.

摘要： A vehicle door lock device includes a latching mechanism, a locking mechanism, and a child-lock mechanism. The child-lock mechanism is arranged between the latching mechanism and an inside door handle, and switches between a transmitting state and a non-transmitting state. The child-lock mechanism in the transmitting state transmits to the latching mechanism a force regarding an attempt to open a door by using the inside door handle, while the child-lock mechanism in the non-transmitting state does not transmit the force to the latching mechanism. When the latching mechanism receives the force, an inside-door handle lever causes the locking mechanism to switch to an unlocked state from a locked state. When the child-lock mechanism is in the transmitting state and the locking mechanism is in the locked state, a link lever and a panic lever operate the inside-door handle lever without transmitting the force to the latching mechanism.

摘要： A vehicle door latch (10) with a power child security lock comprises an enclosure (12) and several components mounted on or in the enclosure. First is a latching assembly (14) disposed in the enclosure and adapted to move between an unlatched configuration and a latched configuration. There is also an inside latch handle assembly (16) disposed adjacent the latching assembly (14). The inside latch handle assembly (16) transfers motion to the latching assembly in response to an actuator to move the latching assembly to the unlatched configuration. A child security lock assembly (22) for the inside latch handle assembly (16) includes a lock pin (24) that is moveable between a locked position and an unlocked position. In the locked position, the lock pin (24) engages the inside latch handle assembly (16) to prevent any motion transfer to the latching assembly (14). In the unlocked position, the lock pin (24) disengages the inside latch handle assembly (16) to allow motion transfer to the latching assembly (14 ). The child security lock assembly (22) also includes a motor assembly (26) disposed adjacent the lock pin (24), and a linkage (30) interconnecting the lock pin and the motor assembly wherein the motor assembly controls movement of the lock pin.

摘要： A door locking system for child-safety door locking systems on an automobile door including a latch and a door lock mechanism. The door handle is incapable of unlatching the door when the locking mechanism locks the latch. The locking system includes a door panel having an opening for receiving the lock lever in a guard lock mode when moved to its locked position so that the lock lever is substantially recessed within the door panel. The lock lever and the door panel are constructed such that the lock lever cannot be accessed through the opening for manual movement back to its unlocked position. In the normal lock mode, the lock lever is not received within the opening in the door panel in the locked position so that it is accessible for manually moving the lock lever to the unlocked position. A key lock interconnects the lock lever and a lock rod for selectively actuating the locking mechanism. The key lock is disengageable from the lock rod via insertion of a key into the key lock to move the lock lever relative to the lock rod between the normal lock mode and the guard lock mode.
