    • An expansion joint bridging device which bridges an expansion joint between two construction work parts of a traversable construction work. The expansion joint is spanned by at least two crossbeams which are supported in a load-bearing manner on both construction work parts, wherein at least one of the load-bearing supports allows a displacement movement. An overload safety device comprises two supporting profiles at a distance from one another and supported on the crossbeams, and a fill profile bridging the gap between the support profiles. If a threshold value for the force that would effect the two support profiles to approach one another is exceeded, a fixing device releases the positional stabilization such that the two support profiles can be moved towards one another by displacing the fill profile upwards out of the gap.

    • A bridging device for joint gaps (1) between building parts (2, 3) including bridge parts, with an expansion joint construction (4) bridging a joint gap (1). The expansion joint construction (4) permits position changes of the building parts (2, 3) with respect to one another. A safety construction (12, 15) is provided which permits a position change of the building parts (2, 3) with respect to one another without a separation destroying the function of the bridging device. The safety construction (12, 15) comprises at least two mutually firmly connected elements which upon exceeding of a defined threshold load are separated and movable with respect to one another. One element is firmly arranged on one of the building parts (2, 3) and the other element is part of the expansion joint construction (4) or receives the latter. The two connected element are defined by a rail (24)and a slide (25). The slide (24) is displaceable in the rail (25) in order to balance shifting movements including transversal movements between bridge parts.

    • A device for bridging expansion joints in bridges or the like is provided with parallel lamellae arranged at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the traffic route. The lamellae are supported on at least two inclined traverses which are pivoted and movably supported at both sides in the joint edges, which bridge said joint diagonally with respect to the longitudinal axis, and are rotatably and movably guided in sliding drag bearings at the bottoms of the lamellae. The inclined traverses are arranged parallel to each other, whereby the support width of the lamellae is always uniform. At least one longitudinal traverse which is movably connected the longitudinal direction with each lamellae via sliding bearings fixed at the bottoms of the lamellae is provided for, preferably at the edge, for taking up the forces which inevitably occur due to movements of the bridge superstructure.
