The pattern shears lipstick from a tube onto the applicator. Also, the pattern assists a consumer in placing the cosmetic upon the applicator. In use, a woman selects a lipstick and moves the applicator, with the raised pattern, or field, down, across the lipstick source. The lipstick collects between the embossing of the raised field. A woman folds the applicator, moves it to her mouth, and transfers the sample to her lips. Following use, a woman reverse folds the applicator and encloses the raised field and sample residue for disposal.

The catheter may be provided with a hydrophilic surface and the package may include a liquid swelling medium. The user may grab the connector (4) through the side-opening and pull out the catheter of the package through there. Spillage of the liquid swelling medium or lubricant is avoided. The side-opening may be configured so that it has two stable configurations, a storing and a folded configuration.

摘要： The improved substance applicator delivery container includes a substance applicator component infused or impregnated with a desired scent, perfume, essential oil, or chemical substance and retained between two cover sheets of material that is substantially impermeable to the infused or impregnated substance. The two cover sheets are releasably bonded through a polymer adhesive surrounding the substance applicator. The substance applicator component may also be bonded to the bottom cover sheet through a semi-rigid to rigid polymer carrier component, which provides additional control for application of the substance. The polymer adhesive may be deposited in a chevron-shaped feature near the top edge of the packet to allow for controlled opening of the packet. Gripping ridges near the top edge of the packet further assist the controlled opening of the packet.

The resulting packaging is resealable after the first separation of two surfaces. With this process, a fixed predetermined heat and residency time can be chosen and the seal strength can still be varied in different areas of a packaging. Non-sealable microdots with a predetermined amount of adhesive deposits also covered by a polypropylene powder deposit permit its resealing.
