摘要： A pattern forming device uses a template having a plurality of protrusions and recesses configured to imprint a reverse image thereof on a resin on a substrate. The pattern forming device has a holding part, a stage, a driving part, and a curing part. The holding part includes a contact portion having a friction reducing contact portion, which is configured to engage against the template to hold the template. The stage carries the substrate. The driving part is configured to move at least one of the holding part and the stage to have the pattern in contact with the resin. The curing part cures the resin. The contact portion has a main body portion configured to move forward/backward with respect to the template and a tip portion arranged on the main body portion.

The article includes a profile including a planar wall, and an adjacent integral molded depression having a contoured wall extending downwardly from the planar wall. The contoured wall includes a bead portion, a cove portion, and a ledge between the bead and cove portions. The articles are stackable, one above another for transport, in a nestable relationship in which multiple contact zones are present between the contoured walls of an adjacently stacked pair of the molded articles. The contact zones include an arcuately extending contact interface zone between the bead exterior and interior surfaces. The depression has a substantially uniform thickness varying by no more than about +1 percent to about −11 percent in relation to a thickness of the planar wall. Related methods and assemblies are also provided.

摘要： A method for producing a mold includes: applying a block copolymer solution made of first and second polymers on a base member; performing a first annealing process at a temperature higher than Tg of the block copolymer after drying the coating film; forming a concavity and convexity structure on the base member by removing the second polymer by an etching process; performing a second annealing process of the concavity and convexity structure at a temperature higher than Tg of the first polymer; forming a seed layer on the structure; laminating or stacking a metal layer on the seed layer by an electroforming; and peeling off the metal layer from the base member. The second annealing process enables satisfactory transfer of a concavity and convexity structure on the base member onto the metal layer.
