    • A bait tank adapted to supply a continuous flow of water through a storage tank having live fish stored therein, said fish being used as fishing bait, wherein the tank is formed having a cylindrical wall defining a storage compartment for unobstructed water circulation therein, an angular channel being vertically formed in the annular wall with inlet openings spaced vertically therein to introduce water in a direction generally parallel to the circular inner side of the tank. Oppositely disposed to the inlet channel is an outlet system including an adjustable gate valve to control the height of the water within the tank, and including a drain gate to allow the tank to be emptied. Inlet and outlet passages are arranged to communicate with the tank compartment, and are located outside thereof and positioned adjacent the inlet and the outlet systems respectively, the tank being covered with an outer housing having an anti-slosh-lip arrangement formed at the opening thereof, wherein a light fixture is positioned to illuminate the storage compartment.

    • An insulated fishing creel is constructed of urethane foam insulating material including a hollow container and a lid hinged thereon to form a thoroughly insulated enclosure. The lid includes an opening formed therethrough that is normally closed by a spring hinged door. The torsion spring connected to the hinged door is utilized to continuously urge the door to a closed position sealing the creel interior. Also provided are: a hinge for the lid, a creel handle, and a carrying strap mounting means, all formed integrally from a flexible material. A lid fastening assembly is also included to selectively hold the lid in a closed position.

    • An oxygenation system comprises an open-bottomed container positioned within a quantity of water for receiving a quantity of oxygen and thereby forming an oxygen-water interface beneath the surface of the quantity of water. In accordance with one embodiment of the invention the open-bottomed container is mounted within an open-topped container to form a live bait bucket and is arranged to permit the withdrawal of live bait from the bucket while maintaining the oxygen-water interface. In accordance with another embodiment of the invention the openbottomed container is positioned beneath the thermocline in a lake or similar large body of water and functions to dissolve additional oxygen into the layer of the large body of water located just below the thermocline.

    • The invention comprises a combination bait and tackle box characterized by a porous liner which has rounded corners at the junctions of its verticle walls to preclude bait fish from crowding into a sqaure corner and suffocating. The liner communicates with the exterior of a housing or frame therefor via openings to permit the bait fish to suck air into the liner. A battery operated aerating pump is contained in a space below the liner in the housing and the housing also includes a space for one or more drawers which are interchangeable to permit the appropriate drawer full of tackle to be selected for the type fishing to be pursued; i.e., salt water, fresh water, snook, bass, trout or the like.

    • A submersible, battery operated, bilge pump located within a live-well in a boat serves to pump live well water through a hose to a section of rigid tubing having small holes along its length above the water surface to spray water back into the well at a 45* angle, for aeration and cooling. A length of plastic tubing from the rigid tube enables overboard discharge of a portion of pumped water as determined by a valve setting, to keep fresh water coming into the well through an underwater entrance port.
