    • Porous plate 13 is disposed between wind box 11 of dispersion board B and cylindrical vessel wall 12. Filling layer 14 of a structure packed with ceramic particles such as those of fused silica is disposed on the porous plate 13 so as to fill the inside of the cylindrical vessel wall. The filling layer 14 is composed of ceramic particles, so that the corrosion wear by chlorine gas can be inhibited and the durability thereof enhanced. Furthermore, a chlorine resistant member is disposed in a form so as to adhere to the internal surface of the cylindrical vessel wall 12, so that the corrosion wear by chlorine gas of the cylindrical vessel wall 12 can also be effectively inhibited. As a result, damage to the internal wall of the chlorination furnace can be minimized, and the state of allowing chlorine gas to be uniformly dispersed and supplied to fluidized bed 4 containing titanium ore and coke can be maintained for prolonged periods.

    • An emergency call system disposed in a vehicle for sending data such as on the present location of the vehicle as well as a registered details of the vehicle to an emergency call system-governing center such as a police station and an emergency call center in case of emergency such as a traffic accident or sudden illness, the improvement wherein emergency call system terminal equipment is controllable from the outside thereof. The emergency call system according to the present invention includes an emergency call communication means for telephoning the emergency call system-governing center via a telecommunication enterpriser's base station, a control section for sending data such as on a vehicle's travelling or heading direction as well as a vehicle's location to the emergency call system-governing center, and a connection interface for causing one interface signal from the emergency call communication means and another from the control section to be sent out to the outside of the emergency call system terminal equipment, thereby permitting these interface signals to interface with the respective external connection equipment.

    • The thermoplastic resin composition disclosed herein comprises:(1) a resin composition consisting of(i) at least one member selected from the group consisting of(a) a modified polypropylene to which has been graft copolymerized an unsaturated carboxylic acid or the derivative thereof,(b) a modified polypropylene to which have been graft comodified an unsaturated aromatic monomer and either an unsaturated carboxylic acid or the derivative thereof,(c) a mixture of the modified polypropylene (a) and a polypropylene,(d) a mixture of the modified polypropylene (b) and a polypropylene,(e) a modified mixture of a polypropylene and a rubbery substance to which mixture has been graft copolymerized an unsaturated carboxylic acid or the derivative thereof,(f) a modified mixture of a polypropylene and a rubbery substance to which mixture have been graft copolymerized an unsaturated aromatic monomer and either an unsaturated carboxylic acid or the derivative thereof,(g) a mixture of the modified mixture (e) and a polypropylene, and(h) a mixture of the modified mixture (f) and a polypropylene, and(ii) a thermoplastic copolymer (E) containing acid anhydride moiety of six-membered ring, and(2) an epoxy group-containing copolymer (G).The thermoplastic resin composition according to the present invention not only exhibits excellent processability but also produces remarkable advantages in that it gives far better physical properties than those expected from each polymer which constitutes the thermoplastic resin composition of the present invention.The novel resin composition provided by the present invention can be easily processed into molded articles, films and sheets by a molding method generally used for thermoplastic resins such as injection molding, extrusion molding, etc, and can give products which have well-balanced properties among stiffness, heat resistance, impact resistance, scratch resistance, coatability, oil resistance, chemical resistance, water resistance, etc., and which are excellent in appearance uniformity and smoothness. The thermoplastic resin composition of the present invention is particularly suitable for use where well-balanced properties among heat resistance and impact resistance, low-temperature impact resistance in particular, are required.
