摘要： A variable capacitance element includes a coplanar line or signal conduction and a movable body, which are vertically displaced through a supporting bar and which are provided on a substrate. A movable electrode is provided between a first driving electrode and second and third driving electrodes which are movable electrodes. Voltage is applied between the movable electrodes, such that one of the movable electrodes is pressed against the coplanar line through a dielectric film. Thus, high frequency signals conducting through the coplanar line are shut off. When voltage is applied between the other electrodes, the movable electrode and the dielectric film are moved apart from the coplanar line. Thus, high frequency signals are conducted through the coplanar line.

摘要： The present invention relates to a processing method for processing a substrate, and comprises a step of coating a coating solution on a surface of the substrate while relatively moving a coating solution discharge nozzle and the substrate and discharging the coating solution from the nozzle onto the substrate. Thereafter, the substrate is exposed to a solvent atmosphere of the coating solution or the pressure is temporarily applied thereto in a container. Thereafter, the pressure inside the container in which the substrate is housed is reduced to dry the coating solution on the substrate. According to the present invention, it is possible to narrow the so-called edge cutting width, which is at a periphery part of the substrate and is not commercialized, and to maintain an in-plane uniformity of the coating film.

摘要： In a flat display apparatus of this invention, which uses a discharge plasma, a UV discharge gas prepared by mixing Xe as a main discharge gas and Ne as a discharge control gas such that the partial pressure of Xe becomes, e.g., 15% is injected into a space between a display substrate and a counter substrate opposing the display substrate at a predetermined pressure. A plurality of first electrodes capable of specifying a position in the first direction on the substrate, a plurality of second electrodes capable of specifying a position in the second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and third electrodes (auxiliary electrodes) equal in number to the first or second electrodes are formed on at least one substrate at a predetermined interval. With this arrangement, the discharge start voltage required for initialization of the discharge generation portion (pixels between the substrates), a write in a memory, and discharge sustaining and memory erase operations can be set to be low.
