    • An exposure control apparatus of a camera includes a first switch which can select a plurality of drive modes including an auto-exposure bracket mode (AEB mode), a second switch which issues signals when operated, a third switch which can modify an exposure correcting value and a memory which stores a plurality of predetermined exposure correcting values. A drive mode selector successively selects the drive modes in response to signals from the second switch when the second switch is actuated during the operation of the first switch. A modifying device successively selects an exposure correcting value to be used to correct the exposure value among those stored in the memory in response to signals issued from the second switch when the latter is actuated during the operation of the third switch. A photographing controller is provided which takes a plurality of pictures at different exposure values in an exposure width correcting values selected by the modifying device when the AEB mode is selected.

    • A shutter speed setting apparatus is provided which is arranged to respond to a main capacitor charge completion signal to judge whether or not the set value of a shutter speed S is higher than a flash synchronization speed S.sub.0. If it is judged that the set value of the shutter speed S is higher than the flash synchronization speed S.sub.0, the set value of the shutter speed S is temporarily stored in the form of a value M and the set value of the shutter speed S is forcibly rewritten with a given speed not higher than the flash synchronization speed S.sub.0. After the main capacitor charge completion signal has disappeared, the set value of the shutter speed S is again rewritten with the temporarily stored value M. If an up/down switch is operated so as to decrease the shutter speed, the set value of the shutter speed S is decreased from the shutter speed which is forcibly rewritten.

    • In a handheld type OHV engine, an oil tank is provided so as to be connected to one side wall running the length of a crankcase and a cylinder block, the oil tank houses oil mist generation means to and a rotational movement section of a valve operation mechanism, and the oil mist generated in the oil tank is supplied from a crank chamber to a valve operation chamber of a cylinder head housing a reciprocating movement section of the valve operation mechanism, and is returned to the oil tank by utilizing the pressure pulsations of the crank chamber and a one-way valve. It is thus possible to lubricate the inside of the crank chamber and the valve operation mechanism reliably regardless of the operational position of the handheld type OHV engine while reducing the overall height of the engine.
