摘要： A method for controlling the watermarking of a set of multimedia data includes performing a first detection operation for detecting the presence of a first type of watermark in the multimedia data and generating a first partial authorization or prohibition parameter in response to this first detection operation. The method further performs a second detection operation for detecting the presence of a second type of watermark in the multimedia data and generates a second partial authorization or prohibition parameter in response to this second detection operation. A final authorization or prohibition parameter is then generated on the basis of the partial authorization or prohibition parameters generated to authorize or prohibit the transmission of the multimedia data. A device for carrying out the method is also proposed.

摘要： A method/apparatus for sharing a resource of plural video/audio/data signal receivers broadcast by an emitter among a plurality of video/audio/data processing Set Top Units using a Master/Slave protocol. The first STU connected to a receiver is the Master, which has priority over a later-connected slave. An STU has access to all services if there is a free receiver. In the absence of free receivers, an STU can access all the services currently accessed by the other STUs, and the services on the transport streams carrying the services currently viewed by the other STUs. A resource sharing apparatus comprises a dedicated for each STU for displaying resources available to the corresponding STU. The controller indicates Slave status for resources that can be provided for the corresponding STU and a special indication for resource that is currently used by a corresponding STU.

摘要： A symmetric key management process in a communication network comprising a source device furnished with a source of data to be broadcast over the network and at least one receiver device intended to receive the broadcast data. The process comprises: determining and securely transmitting a first symmetric key to a receiver device; the receiver device encrypting the first symmetric key using a second symmetric key and transmitting it to the source device; and the source device recovering and storing it. Before transmitting the data to at least one reception device, the source device encrypts these data with the aid of the first symmetric key, then it transmits these encrypted data, accompanied by the first encrypted symmetric key, to at least one receiver device. The receiver device decrypts the first symmetric key with the aid of the second key which it possesses, then it decrypts the encrypted data with the aid of the first symmetric key thus recovered.
