    • A semiconductor device for performing data processing by performing a plurality of computations in cycles includes a pipeline formed by connecting a plurality of computing units in series, each of the computing units including: a data line for receiving data; a control line for receiving a rule signal; a circuit information control unit configured to store, before data processing, several circuit information items, and to output a first one of the several circuit information items according to the rule signal received via the control line in a first cycle of the data processing; a processing element configured to construct an execution circuit according to the first circuit information item, to perform a computation using data from the data line, and to output a computation result; a data register for storing the computation result, and for outputting the computation result in a second cycle; and a control register for storing the rule signal and for outputting the rule signal in the second cycle. The semiconductor further includes a controller configured to control output timing of the rule signal to the control line of a first-stage one of the computing units in the pipeline and to control output timing of the data to the data line of the first-stage computing unit in the first cycle, so that the plurality of computing units are operated as a pipeline.

    • A door opening/closing mechanism fitted on a door that closes and opens an opening formed in the body of an apparatus by being brought into and out of contact with the rim of the opening has cam mechanisms that permit the door to engage with and disengage from the body at either of the right and left sides of the door. The cam mechanisms can be brought into a first lock position in which they lie symmetrically at both sides of the door and into a second lock position in which they lie symmetrically at both sides of the door, and each have a hinge pin that serves as a rotation axis in the second lock position and a groove cam that engages with the hinge pin in such a way as to be movable relative to the hinge pin. The groove cam has a slide portion on which a part of the innermost portion of the hinge pin slides when the cam mechanism is moved from the first lock position to the second lock position and of which the length in the direction of the width of the door is greater than the maximum permissible variation in the outermost distance (L) between the two groove cams formed at both sides of the door. When the door is closed, the cam mechanisms at both sides are kept in the first lock position and, when the door is opened at one side, the door slides and thereby causes the cam mechanism at the other side to be brought into the second lock position so as to be rotatably locked in the second lock position.

    • A working fluid containing dispersed abrasive grains is used in abrasive machining, and a used working fluid contaminated with cutting chips or swarf produced during the abrasive machining is processed by first filter device, so that the abrasive grains in the used working fluid is recovered in the form of a suspension to provide a reclaimed working fluid in which the amount of the cutting chips is reduced. The used working fluid is reclaimed by the device, and the useful abrasive grains included in the used working fluid can be efficiently utilized without being discarded, whereby the abrasive grains in the working fluid is effectively utilized and the working cost is reduced. The device employs a so-called cross flow filtration system, wherein filtration films have mesh openings which are sufficiently smaller than an average grain size of the abrasive grains. Accordingly, when the used working fluid flows through a circulating path in the device, only the cutting chips are passed through the mesh openings together with a portion of a medium liquid while the abrasive grains are circulated in the circulating path with the rest of the liquid without deposition on the films.

    • A semiconductor memory device according to the present invention has data reading lines provided corresponding to word lines, second switches disposed between memory cells and the data reading lines to deliver data onto the data reading lines in accordance with a column address signal, and a column address generating circuit for generating an address signal. With this arrangement, it is possible to read out data stored in the memory cells arranged in a column-wise direction at increased speed. Further it is possible to eliminate a shift circuit, a shift value control circuit, a register and an input control circuit which are needed in conventional semiconductor memory devices to read the data from memory cells arranged in a column-wise direction, thereby reducing the scale of the circuit arrangement.
