    • A refrigerator including a main body provided with a refrigerating chamber at an upper section and with a freezing chamber at a lower section, an ice making tray disposed in an upper space of an ice making chamber defined in the refrigerating chamber, a first storage container disposed in a lower space of the ice making chamber to store ice falling down from the ice making tray, and a second storage container disposed in a freezing chamber to store ice transferred from the ice making tray. The main body includes a guide channel to guide, when the first storage container reaches an ice-full state, ice falling from the ice making tray to the second storage container in the freezing chamber. The size of the ice making chamber is greatly reduced while a sufficient amount of the ice may be stored, thus securing a larger available space in the refrigerating chamber.

    • An apparatus and a method for processing sensor data for a vehicle using an unified data format eXtensible Markup Language in process of data communication between various vehicle sensors and a vehicle application system, which facilitates transmit and receive data processing in terms of a vehicle network of the sensors and the application system are provided. The apparatus for processing the sensor data for the vehicle using the XML includes a plurality of vehicle sensors installed inside the vehicle for detecting a change of physical quantity and providing a detection signal; a sensor transducer for converting the detection signal of the vehicle sensors to an electrical analog signal; a signal conditioning unit for amplifying the electrical analog signal to a measurable signal; an Analog/Digital Converter (ADC) for converting the amplified analog signal to sensor data of a digital signal; a frame generator for generating and providing the sensor data converted to the digital signal per frame; and a sensor data converter comprising a Dynamic data Exchange Channel (DEC) for batch-processing the sensor data input from the frame generator per frame, in an XML format. The DEC of the sensor data converter defines a structure of the sensor data using a schema of the XML and converts the sensor data format to the XML format at the same time.

    • There are disclosed embodiments for a medical system capable of providing an external trigger signal. The medical system comprises at least one of an ECG signal providing unit to provide an ECG signal indicative of an electrical change in a target object, a reference signal providing unit to provide at least one reference signal for triggering an operation of the medical system, and a medical image providing unit to provide a medical image of the target object. The medical system may further comprise a processor to form an external trigger signal using at least one of the ECG signal, reference signal and medical image. The medical system may further comprise a signal interface unit to transmit the external trigger signal to an external device coupled to the medical system.
