摘要： A color image forming apparatus is provided, and includes a plurality of image forming units including a photosensitive drum, a charging device and a developing device; a carriage for retaining and rotating the plurality of image forming units so as to move the image forming units between an image forming position and a waiting position; an exposing device for exposing a surface of the photosensitive drum of the image forming unit located at the image forming position; an intermediate transfer belt for successive transfer and superposition of toner images of various colors from the photosensitive drum of the image forming units located at the image forming position so as to form a color toner image; a drive member for driving the photosensitive drum and the intermediate transfer belt; a position detector for detecting a reference position of the intermediate transfer belt when the intermediate transfer belt is driven, and outputting a reference position detection signal; a secondary transfer roller for transferring the color toner image on the intermediate transfer belt onto recording paper; and a controller for controlling the operation of the above structural elements. The controller determines an operation start time of the charging device and the developing device using a rotation command signal to the driving means as a reference, and an operation start time of the exposing device, the intermediate transfer belt and the secondary transfer roller using the reference position detection signal as a reference.

The cleaner roller is disposed in a range enclosed by the intermediate transfer belt, the tangential line of the drive roller parallel to the common tangential line of the peripheries of the tension roller and the opposed roller, and the vertical tangential line of the secondary transfer side of the opposed roller.

摘要： In a color image forming apparatus, a plurality of image forming units 3Y, 3M, 3C and 3K, which correspond to a plurality of colors and with each unit including a developing device and a photosensitive drum, are retained so as to define a cylinder. The color image forming apparatus includes: a conveying apparatus for conveying the plurality of image forming units around the main axis of the cylinder between an image forming position and a waiting position by simultaneously rotating all image forming units; an exposing device 6 for exposure of the photosensitive drum of the image forming unit that is in the image forming position 10; a transfer apparatus 5, which contacts a transfer belt 50 with the photosensitive drum 30 of the image forming unit that is in the image forming position, and when the image forming unit that is in the image forming position is switched, successively transcribes the toner images of all colors formed on the photosensitive drums onto the transfer belt, superimposes the toner images of all colors and forms a colored toner image on the transfer belt; and a transfer belt driving apparatus for driving the transfer belt at a constant speed. When a second color image is formed after a first color image, the first toner image color of the second color image is formed on the transfer belt by using the image forming unit of the last color added to the first color image. The exposing device includes a light source accommodated by the inner portion of the cylinder defined by the image forming units.

摘要： A miniature chip antenna suitable for use in low-frequency-band mobile communications is disclosed. The chip antenna has a rectangular-prism-shaped base member provided with a mounting surface. Disposed within the base member is a conductor spirally wound along the height of the base member. The base member is formed from e.g., ferrite comprising Ni--Zn having a relative magnetic permeability of 7. The conductor is made from a metal comprising, e.g., Cu, Ni, Ag, Pd, Pt, or Au, and is formed by printing, depositing, laminating or plating. The base member and the conductor are then integrally sintered. A conductor having a rectangular cross section and spirally wound along the height of the base member is thus formed within the base member.

摘要： An antenna apparatus having a predetermined impedance is provided. The apparatus has a chip antenna including a conductor and a mounting board on which the antenna is mounted. A ground pattern and a microstrip line are formed on the board. A feeding terminal for applying a voltage to the conductor is deposited on the surface of the antenna. Solder may be used to connect the feeding terminal of the antenna to the microstrip line formed on the board. A capacitance generating device, e.g., a dielectric resin or capacitor is disposed between the microstrip line connected to the feeding terminal of the antenna and the ground pattern. A capacitance is thus generated between the microstrip line and the ground pattern thereby enabling regulation of the antenna apparatus impedance and bandwidth.
