    • An electrical connector assembly includes an electrical receptacle connector (100; 300) and an electrical header connector (200; 400). The electrical receptacle connector includes an insulative housing (110; 310), a number of wafers (130; 350) accommodated in the insulative housing, and a number of inner printed circuit boards (120; 320). Each wafer has a wafer body (131; 3113), a number of signal contacts (132; 330) and a grounding bus (133; 340). Each inner printed circuit board has a mounting portion (124; 324) extending between two adjacent wafers to electrically contact with the signal contacts and the grounding buses and a mating portion (123; 323). The electrical header connector has an insulative housing (210; 410) and a number of wafers (220; 440) accommodated in the insulative housing to receive therebetween and electrically contact with the mating portions of the inner printed circuit boards of the electrical receptacle connector.

    • A power connector assembly (100) includes a plug (1) and a receptacle (2). The plug has a housing (11), a plurality of plug contacts (12) received in the housing, and a cover (13,13′) attached on a rear side of the housing. The cover includes an upper portion (131,131′) and a rear portion (132,132′) extending perpendicularly from the upper portion. Opposite lateral sides of the rear portion each define thereon a cutout (133,133′) engaging with corresponding protrusion (111) formed on the housing and an embossment (134,134′) received in corresponding notch (112) defined besides the protrusion to thereby secure the cover on the housing. The width of the cover is changeable in order to meet different voltage requirements.

    • An electrical connector (1) comprises a dielectric housing consisting of a first housing (10, 52) and a second housing (40, 51), a spacer (20) assembled at a bottom of the housing and a plurality of circuit boards (30). The housing defines a plurality of parallel channels (15) extending in a mating direction of the electrical connector. A plurality of bumps (106) extends downward from an upper wall of the housing in alignment with the channels for abutting against with an upper face of a corresponding circuit board. The spacer consists of a plurality of identical wafers (21) thereby each two adjacent wafers defining a slot (200) to receive a corresponding circuit board therein. Each wafer has a dielectric base (22), a plurality of terminals (23) attached on a first side of the dielectric base to electrically connect with a corresponding circuit board, and a grounding bus (24) mainly attached on an opposite second side of the dielectric base.

    • A contact strip (1) includes a number of contacts (10) interconnected by a carrier (60). Each contact includes a body portion (12), an upper arm (14) upwardly extending from the body portion for engaging with a first printed circuit board (5) and a lower arm (16) extending downwardly and laterally from the body portion. The lower arm has a free end (162) for resiliently engaging with a second printed circuit board (4) and a curved connecting portion (160) connecting with the body portion. The carrier has a connection stem (62) connecting with the curved connecting portion of the contact. An oblique score (15) is defined between the curved connecting portion of each contact and a corresponding connection stem of the carrier. The contacts can be easily separated from the carrier by bending the connection stems of the carrier along the oblique scores.
