    • A golf club head, especially relating to an iron golf club head having a balance weight secured to the back of a head body, provided for improvemnt of securing such balance weight thereto. The back surface of the head body and the front surface of the weight are provided with concave portions opposite to each other, of which the side-peripheral surfaces decrease their cross-widths toward their contact surfaces. Into a space between the back and front surfaces is filled a connecting material such as an adhesive, and then solidified, thereby easily joining the head body to the weight, which can be ensured thanks to dovetail structures of the concave portions.

    • A method for operating power window apparatus with a safety device which stops the closing operation of the window in response to the detection of an object-caught state, which prevents the incomplete close of the window, and can accurately detect the object-caught state. The opening/closing position of the window is detected by counting pulses generated as the window moves. A region where a safety control can be carried out is determined on the basis of the detected opening/closing position. When the window reaches a position near a position where the window is fully closed, the count indicative of the opening/closing position detector is reset. The resetting operation is carried out so that a time point where the relative speed of the window is reduced is set at the fully closed position of the window.

    • There is provided an optical scanner, and an image forming apparatus and an image display apparatus which have the optical scanner. The optical scanner includes a mirror portion having a base plate portion, and a reflective portion which is adhered to a surface of the base plate portion; and a torsion beam portion which is connected to the mirror portion, made of a same material as the base plate portion and integrally formed with the base plate portion, and which is configured to be torsionally vibrated. The reflective portion includes a reinforcement portion and a reflective surface. The reinforcement portion is made of material having a density lower than that of the base plate portion and a Young's modulus greater than that of the base plate portion. The reflective surface is formed on a surface of the reinforcement portion and is configured to reflect the incident light.

    • A two-dimensional optical scanner and an image display apparatus are provided. The optical scanner includes: a movable portion having a mirror portion, and a first driving portion which is configured to oscillate the mirror portion around a first axis; a second driving portion which is configured to oscillate the movable portion around a second axis perpendicular to the first axis; and a driving controller which is configured to drive the first driving portion in a first driving method and is configured to drive the second driving portion in a second driving method different from the first driving method. While the first driving portion oscillates the mirror portion around the first axis, the second driving portion oscillates the movable portion around the second axis, so that the mirror portion reflects a beam of light incident to the mirror portion such that the two-dimensional optical scanner performs a two-dimensional scanning.

    • There is provided a golf club in which the repulsion area of a face portion is enlarged. The same face in each component of the crown portion, sole portion and the like in the body portion is welded to the face portion having a strike surface by combining metal plates having different rigidity or strength.
