    • There is provided an image forming apparatus capable of reducing the number of cooling fans placed and of preventing air polluted inside the apparatus from being exhausted out of the apparatus. The image forming apparatus comprises: a branch section 101a that branches a cooling wind from a cooling fan into branched cooling winds; and a wind guide path that guides the branched cooling winds branched by the branch section to cooling targets to be cooled, respectively, and exhausts the branched cooling winds, the wind guide path including a first wind guide path that guides one of the branched cooling winds to a first cooling target at which a predetermined gas is mixed into the one of the branched cooling winds, and exhausts the one of the branched cooling winds, and a second wind guide path that guides another one of the branched cooling winds to a second cooling target at which the predetermined gas is not mixed into the another one of the branched cooling winds and exhausts the another one of the branched cooling winds.

    • A 3-dimensional operation input apparatus, a control apparatus, a control system, a control method, and a handheld apparatus are provided with which planar operations are possible without an increase in the number of components. An input apparatus includes an angular velocity sensor unit and an acceleration sensor. A threshold value is set to angular velocity values detected by the angular velocity sensor unit. Depending on whether the angular velocity values are smaller than the threshold value and whether at least one of acceleration values is larger than a threshold value, a switch can be made between a planar operation mode and a 3-dimensional operation mode. Therefore, a switch can be made between the planar operation mode and the 3-dimensional operation mode without having to use a sensor other than the acceleration sensor and the angular velocity sensor without increasing the number of components.

    • An X-ray detector is disclosed. According to one aspect, the X-ray detector includes a plurality of light sensing pixels each including a photodiode for generating an electrical detection signal corresponding to incident light and a switching device for transmitting the detection signal. The X-ray detector additionally includes a gate driver for supplying a gate pulse to the switching device via a plurality of gate lines. The gate pulse may be configured to turn on the switching device. The X-ray detector also includes a read out integrated circuit for reading out the detection signal from the plurality of light sensing pixels. During a scrubbing period, in which gate scanning is performed at least once to initialize the photodiodes of the plurality of light sensing pixels, a plurality of gate pulses are supplied to each gate line during each gate scan.
