摘要： A disk cartridge with a write protect mechanism includes a cassette casing in which a disk is rotatably housed. The cassette casing includes upper and lower halves. The upper half includes a planar wall and a standing peripheral wall, and the lower half also includes a corresponding planar wall and a corresponding standing peripheral wall. The cassette casing is formed by facing the standing peripheral walls and firmly securing them to each other. A housing space is provided in the cassette casing for slidably receiving a manually operable switching member of the write protect mechanism therein. An inlet is provided at the standing peripheral walls of the upper and lower halves for communicating the housing space with an outside of the cassette casing therethrough. The manually operable switching member is inserted into the housing space through the inlet provided at the standing peripheral walls.

摘要： One object of the present invention is to provide a light emitting element that includes an organic compound and an inorganic compound and has low driving voltage. The light emitting element of the invention includes a plurality of layers between a pair of electrodes, wherein the plurality of layers includes a layer that contains a carbazole derivative represented by a general formula (1) and an inorganic compound exhibiting an electron accepting property with respect to the carbazole derivative. By utilizing this structure, electrons are transported between the carbazole derivative and the inorganic compound and carriers are internally generated, and hence, the driving voltage of the light emitting element can be reduced.

摘要： The present invention is related to a disc cartridge in which an optical disc, an inner shell and shutter members are housed in a main cartridge body unit, formed by abutting and combining upper and lower shells and in which the inner shell is run in rotation to cause the shutter members to open or close an aperture provided in the main cartridge body unit. The inner shell is formed by a resin molding portion comprised of a first molded portion for forming the inner shell and a second molded portion connected to the first molded portion. The second molded portion is provided at a position forming the aperture in the inner shell and is connected to the first molded portion through a flanged thin-walled section. The inner shell is formed by severing the second molded portion and the flanged thin-walled section.

Thus, it is possible to provide the disk cartridge, the disk recording medium device and the disk recording and/or reproducing apparatus in which dusts, smudges and so on are difficult to enter the disk compartment.
