    • An automotive vehicle electronic door locking system returns vehicle devices left in operation to an original disabled condition whenever the driver locks the vehicle doors by depressing at least one of a plurality of coded push-button type switches installed at an appropriate position on the outside of an automotive vehicle. Since the vehicle devices, such as a power-operated car-radio antenna, small lights, a room light, etc., are automatically returned to an original disabled condition, it is possible to park the vehicle safely after the vehicle doors have been locked. The vehicle devices are actuated to the original disabled condition thereof in response to a lock command signal, in addition to the conventional electronic door locking system.

    • The present invention relates to an automatic adjusting device for a cable type clutch operating mechanism which automatically compensates for wear of the clutch facings by disengaging the cable from the clutch pedal upon a clutch pedal closely approaching and assuming a home position. Under these conditions, only a single relatively weak spring applies tension to the cable while a clutch return spring holds the pedal in the home position so that rattling of pedal is prevented and automatic adjustment for clutch facing wear is possible without excessive stress being applied to a release bearing of the clutch.

    • An automotive vehicle sunroof structure including a roof panel formed witha roof opening. The roof panel is reinforced by reinforcement members each of which is located near the roof opening. Each reinforcement member is disposed to connect the roof panel and a guide rail for a sunroof lid fittable within the roof opening. The reinforcement member is formed with a plurality of brackets each of which is formed by bending the tip end section of the reinforcement member. Each bracket extends inward of the vehicle and under the roof opening. The bracket is fixedly secured to the guide rail, so that the dimension of the roof opening in the direction of the vehicle width is enlarged thereby offseting the guide rail from the upward side of the passenger's head to the lateral side of the roof.
