摘要： A method for making a custom environmentally friendly multilayer restroom fixture decorative device and the associated decorative device is provided. In one embodiment, the method includes uploading a graphic to a computer system having a graphics modification system. When the desired graphic is uploaded to the computer system with a graphics modification system, the graphics modification system is utilized to create a modified graphic. Next, the modified graphic is transmitted to a cutting device. After the modified graphic has been transmitted to the cutting device, the cutting device cuts the modified graphic from a pliable graphic substrate to create an appliqué. Finally, once the appliqué has been cut from the pliable graphic substrate, the appliqué is attached to a pliable backing substrate that includes a porcelain attachment surface having a releasable urine-resistant adhesive layer to releasably attach the pliable backing substrate to the interior of a restroom fixture.

摘要： An accommodating intraocular lens is provided having optical parameters that are altered in-situ, wherein an optic portion of the lens includes an actuator that deflects a lens element to alter the optical power of the lens, responsive to forces applied to a haptic portion to the lens by contraction of the ciliary muscles. Forces applied to the haptic portion may result in fluid displacements from or to the haptic portion from the actuator. Displacement of fluid to the actuator may either increase or reduce the degree of deflection imposed on the lens element by the actuator.

The gripping element is in contact with a circumference of the pilot element and the deformable segments are circumferentially deformable in response to a change in a gripping element diameter. The glide ring incrementally urges the gripping element in a first direction along the pilot element. The gripping element axially fixes responsive to force applied by the wedge ring in a second direction, opposite the first direction, along the pilot element. A surface between gripping element inner and outer circumferences forms a fixed angle with the pilot element despite changes in the inner or outer circumferences.

摘要： The present invention concerns a system for utilizing radio frequency signals to dynamically determine the location of a medical device throughout a procedure and to improve navigation of the medical device. For these purposes, a plurality of RF receivers are mounted at operative locations in the operating room and operate on the same clock signal. The system also utilizes a diagnostic medical image such as an MRI, and overlays the position feedback signal on the image. This allows, for example, a surgeon to pick a desired spot on the diagnostic image, and then cause a robotic arm driven device to be moved to that particular spot inside the human body.
