    • Disclosed is a method of storing scene comprising a three-dimensional image, which has been generated by converting an image input an apparatus supporting photographing of the three-dimensional image, into a recording medium. The method includes: loading, in a predetermined file type field, image type information indicating one of a single stereoscopic image and a synthetic image including a monoscopic image and a stereoscopic image; loading, in a configurative information container field, scene descriptor information indicating temporal and spatial relations between a plurality of media objects included in the three-dimensional image, object configurative information indicating object attributes of each media object of said plurality of media objects and a configurative relation between encoded streams of each of the media objects of said plurality, configurative information of the encoded streams, first metadata between the plurality of media objects, and second metadata between each media object of the plurality and the encoded stream thereof, and loading, in a media data container field, a bit stream of each media object included in the three-dimensional image, a bit stream for the first metadata, and a bit stream for the second metadata.

    • Provided is an inter-frame wavelet coding apparatus that can reduce the computation complexity of a decoder by adjusting a decomposition level and a filter length based on the information amount of a frame during wavelet transform and a method therefor. The inter-frame wavelet coding apparatus includes: a Motion Compensated Temporal Filtering (MCTF) unit for computing a motion vectors of a group of pictures (GOP) and filtering the GOP with respect to the temporal axis, to thereby obtain filtered frame; a wavelet transforming unit for performing spatial wavelet transform on the filtered frame and outputting a wavelet coefficient; a quantization unit for quantizing the wavelet coefficient; an entropy coding unit for entropy-coding the motion vector computed in the MCTF unit and the quantized wavelet coefficient, to thereby generate an entropy-coded bit stream; and a wavelet filter managing unit for selecting a decomposition level and a filter length for the wavelet transforming unit based on motion estimation information of the GOP video computed in the MCTF unit, wherein the decomposition level and the filter length are included in the entropy-coded bit stream.

The method for acquiring a multi-viewpoint image in an image acquisition apparatus comprises the steps of: converting the image acquisition apparatus to a multi-viewpoint image photographing mode; if converted to the multi-viewpoint image photographing mode in the converting step, providing a plurality of geometric shapes to set a position of an object to be photographed within a screen and selecting a desired shape of the geometric shapes in response to an inputted shape selection signal; if the desired geometric shape is selected in the shape providing step, adjusting a position and a size of the selected geometric shape in response to a shape adjustment signal; and photographing a whole image having the object that places within the adjusted geometric shape in the adjusting step.
