Accordingly, even a mobile terminal, which does not have a function of receiving and reproducing DMB data, can reproduce the DMB data.

The device for providing a haptic user interface in a mobile terminal includes a pointing device for receiving manipulation from a user to control a pointer; a display unit for displaying the pointer on a screen; a memory unit for storing information of a voltage level to be supplied to a vibration unit according to a coordinate value of the pointer; a controller for outputting a control signal based on the coordinate value of the pointer in the display unit according to movement of the pointing device and information of the memory unit; and a vibration unit for generating a vibration according to the control signal. Therefore, by generating a vibration according to movement of a pointer, a user can feel a response to manipulation of the user interface with the sense of touch as well as the sense of sight, thereby providing interest and convenience to the user.

摘要： A keypad battery pack, a mobile terminal available for different keypad battery packs, and a method for changing a keypad of a mobile terminal by replacing a battery pack with a different battery pack are provided. The mobile terminal has a keypad formed on a battery pack as well as on a front surface of the mobile terminal, thereby expanding a keypad-placement area to a rear surface of the mobile terminal. As a result, keys of the keypad are arranged on both surfaces of the mobile terminal, and thus a key arrangement space has room for an additional key, thereby enabling easy adding of a key. Further, the keypads of the mobile terminal are arranged on the rear surface and the front surface according to functions of the keypads, thereby providing a keypad structure suitable for a mobile terminal having an additional function. Further, the mobile terminal may selectively mount a plurality of battery packs having different types and arrangements of keypads.
