摘要： A method for determining and correcting for the variations in height of a rotor as it wobbles when rotating past a particular critical circumferential position. The method comprises sensing a reference surface of each vessel in the rotor that is to be filled during the use of the rotor in an incubator, as a tare height of the vessel, so that the effect of the vertical run-out is known and corrected for by the computer. Air pressure is used to detect the reference surface, either from a vessel-wash probe connected to the source of air pressure, or a separate sensor probe.

摘要： An extendable rope protecting sheath is an apparatus that extends over an existing climbing rope in order to provide a barrier that protects said climbing rope from fraying and weakening as a result of direct contact with damaging surfaces. The apparatus includes an extendable sheath which folds over the climbing rope and is secured onto itself by an inner fastening strip and an outer fastening strip. The apparatus includes a first breakaway recovery strap which is connected to the extendable sheath and used to attach a breakaway wristband to the extendable sheath. The attachment between the breakaway wristband and the extendable sheath allows the user to adjust the apparatus with minimal interference to the user's range of motion. The apparatus uses a first double-sided fastening strip and a second double-sided fastening strip to secure the apparatus to the climbing rope and link multiple extendable rope protecting sheaths together.

An enhanced interface and protocol is defined for allowing the new T&C pool entity to communicate with the eNBs over a shared IP based network. The redistributed functionality provides for optimizing both data compression capabilities and security by compressing data earlier in its transmission path and by encrypting data before it is sent to an eNB.

The expandable rope protecting sleeve shrouds a climbing rope during a climber's descent with minimal interference to the climber's range of motion. The apparatus provides the extendable sleeve with a detachable engagement through a breakaway wrist strap in order reduce the likelihood of the climber being encumbered by the apparatus. Additionally, the detachable engagement is provided in a manner that avoids a sudden jerking sensation upon detachment. Through the combination of the aforementioned components the apparatus is able to slowly expand over a climbing rope covering exposed sections of the climbing rope during the climber's descent.
