摘要： A vehicle which can travel on land, in water, or through air has a body like that of an automobile with powered wheels for providing propulsion on land. The vehicle also has rotors for providing propulsion in air and wings for providing lift. Storage compartments conceal the rotors during land operation, and in this mode the wings are folded down against the body, over the compartments. The wings and the rotors can be deployed to convert the vehicle to flight mode.

The method includes: determining a horizontal velocity Vh and a vertical velocity Vv of the aircraft; acquiring, along a moving direction of the aircraft, an object having a distance that is no greater than a preset distance L away from the aircraft; predicting, according to the horizontal velocity Vh, the vertical velocity Vv, and the preset distance L, a position relationship between the aircraft and the object after the aircraft flies the preset distance L; and controlling the aircraft, by using a preset control measure, if the position relationship meets a preset relationship.

摘要： An impact mitigation system for an aircraft and method of deploying the impact mitigation system is disclosed. A state parameter of the aircraft is obtained. The state parameter is used with an aircraft performance model to determine an acceleration capability of the aircraft. A trajectory of the aircraft is predicted using the state parameter of the aircraft and the acceleration capability of the aircraft. A location of an object with respect to the aircraft is determined and the impact mitigation system is deployed when the predicted trajectory indicates a contact with the object at a predicted contact velocity higher than a threshold velocity at a future time.

The lower portion defines a cavity for receiving a seat belt buckle assembly and has at least one rear wall portion extending between opposing sidewalls that partially define the cavity. The rear wall portion forms a slot area to permit a strap attached to the seat belt buckle assembly to extend from the cavity when the seat belt buckle assembly is positioned in the cavity. The rear wall portion is configured to prevent the seat belt buckle assembly from moving laterally out of the cavity. The upper portion is hingedly coupled to the lower portion such that the upper portion completely covers the cavity of the lower portion when the upper portion is rotated into engagement with the lower portion.

The receptacle (2) has an opening (4) through which the life vest (3) is inserted into and removed from the receptacle (2). A closure is provided, by which the opening (4) can be opened and closed. The closure comprises a tongue (5) on a first side of the opening (4). The tongue (5) is arranged such that it can be folded across the opening (4) to obstruct the opening (4). On a second side of the opening (4), opposite to the first side of the opening (4), there is provided a pocket (6). The pocket (6) is arranged so that the tongue (5) can be inserted into the pocket (6) when the tongue is folded to obstruct the opening (4). With the tongue (5) folded to obstruct the opening (4) and inserted in the pocket (6), first and second strips (7, 16) of a second material are aligned with one another and can be squeezed together so that the closure is substantially flat. This ensures that the tongue (5) is secured in the pocket (6) by a hook and loop fastener and allows a security seal (17) to be applied to the closure.
