A gear shifter cable bracket assembly is operably secured to the solenoid cable and to a clevis, with the clevis being mounted to the motorcycle. An electric interrupt element for controllably interrupting the ignition system of the motorcycle is secured to the motorcycle and operably linked to the micro-switch and to a toggle switch. A control button is secured to the handlebars of the motorcycle for controlling the solenoid. The control button is operably linked to a relay element and to the solenoid.

摘要： A foot actuated gear shifting device is provided for a motorcycle which is compatible with current motorcycle structures such that it could be included as standard equipment or be utilized as an accessory attachment to simplify the shifting action accomplished by one foot of the operator. The structure of the invention includes a unitary foot pedal adapted to be installed in the normal position where the operator rests his left foot. The pedal is adapted to support the entire foot of the operator and pivot about a point beneath the foot arch. The forward end of the pedal is connected to the outer end of the motorcycle's gear shift lever such that shifting action can be accomplished by the operator causing the pedal to rock forwardly or rearwardly; consistent with the direction in which he wishes to move the gear shift lever. The device of the invention is preferably adapted for attachment to the foot rest component which is standard on most motorcycles, and preferably includes adjustment means by which the operator can selectively vary the upper surface configuration of the pedal in accordance with a particular shoe style.

摘要： A system and method for simple transmission of a multi-speed bicycle is provided. A bicycle can have a transmission that can be toggled by a kickback shifting mechanism. A rear wheel hub can support a freewheel having a high speed gear sprocket and a low speed gear sprocket with dedicated chains to create dedicated gear-shifting. Rotating the pedal shaft in the non-drive direction approximately one-quarter rotation can toggle the transmission between the first gear ratio and the second gear ratio with a shifting surface that alternately allows driving engagement of the high speed gear sprocket with the rear wheel driver.
