摘要： A vehicle disablement system that prevents and deters the unauthorized use of a vehicle by limiting engine operation to idle speed. A pedal obstructing device is located beneath the accelerator pedal of the vehicle that is selectively movable between an obstructing position, engaging the pedal, and an enablement position, clearing the pedal. The pedal obstructing device is moved into the obstructing position by an electromagnetic actuator (e.g., a solenoid) or by a motor. The device is locked into the obstructing position by a locking arm which is electromagnetically activated. In an alternative embodiment of the system, the electromagnetic actuator or the motor is controlled from a remotely operated transmitter.

摘要： An apparatus for locking and unlocking one or more storage compartments in a truck service body includes a channel assembly that is slidably secured to the service body by at least one channel support. A rod assembly having an L-shaped locking bracket is slidably secured to the service body by a plurality of rod supports. The rod assembly passes through the channel assembly. A handle for manually moving the rod assembly between a locked position and an unlocked position is included. The handle is rigidly secured to the channel assembly and extends outside of the service body. The handle is adapted for coupling to the service body by a manual locking mechanism. An electro-mechanical actuator is coupled to the rod assembly for moving the rod assembly between its locked and unlocked positions. The width of the channel is sufficient to allow the electro-mechanical actuator to move the rod assembly from its locked position to its unlocked position when the handle is coupled to the service body by the manual locking mechanism.

摘要： An object of this invention is to provide a door unlocking device adapted unlock a door by transmitting a signal in the air through a signal transmitter, which can unlock the door even when the power source of the signal transmitter, namely, the battery has consumed up. With a door unlocking device, upon insertion of an ignition key into the rotor of a key cylinder, a shutter is opened to operate a shutter switch. Under this condition, the rotor is turned in opposite directions from the neutral position according to a predetermined rotor turning pattern. The rotor turning pattern is discriminated by a rotor-turning-pattern discriminating circuit. Ensuring that the rotor turning pattern is the one predetermined for unlocking the door, the rotor-turning-pattern discriminating circuit activates an electric operating mechanism to cause a lock mechanism to unlock the door.

The screw member includes a bevel gear end which meshes with the bevel gear of the motor, a right hand thread portion which engages with the hollow holder, and a left hand thread portion which engages with the holder block. A housing is provided to enclose the lock assembly and has an opening through which the gear shifter passes. The screw is locked between the hollow holder and the holder block when the motor is activated to turn in one direction. The screw is unlocked when the motor is activated to turn in another direction.

摘要： An anti-theft device for a motor vehicle includes an elongate wheel lock bar slidably displaceable within a guide member, the guide member being fixedly securable to the floor board of a vehicle. When so secured and by providing suitable apertures in the floor board and fire wall of the vehicle, the wheel lock bar can be displaced between an inoperative position and an operative position in which the bar will inhibit the normal operation of a front wheel of the vehicle, thereby effectively immobilizing the vehicle. An electric motor is provided for displacing the wheel lock bar via a displacement shaft, operation of the motor being controlled by a control means in a manner that displacement of the wheel lock bar into its operative position will occur automatically upon the vehicle engine being switched off and the vehicle door being opened, whereas displacement into its inoperative position will require transmission of a coded signal to the control means.

The original door lock device is removed and a power pack (60) is installed, which includes a mechanism (64) that can engage the door latch, with the mechanism being operated by either an electrically energized action motor (70) or a key operated lock device (40A). The key operated lock device on the power pack has a cylinder (84) that mounts in the same position as the key cylinder of the original lock device that was removed.

摘要： A keyless entry system allows operation of door locks, a trunk lid lock, a glove box lid lock, a steering lock device or so forth without mechanical keys. The keyless entry system includes electrically disconnected transmitter and a controller. The controller is connected to operate the devices. The transmitter is adapted to send a present code-indicative radio signal to the controller, which then compares the code contained in the radio signal from the transmitter with a preset code. The controller is provided with a dual-antenna system which ensures clear data transmission between the transmitter and the controller. The dual-antenna system includes at least a pair of antennas oriented essentially perpendicular to each other.
