The plunger is vertically moved such that one end portion of the coil spring is slid while brought into press-contact with an edge of the other end portion of the moving contact piece, whereby the moving contact piece is inverted to bring and separate the moving contact into contact with and from a fixed contact. The pair of moving contact pieces is disposed on the base such that axis centers of the moving contact pieces are parallel to an axis center in a longitudinal direction of the base and such that the moving contact pieces are located on both sides in a central portion in the longitudinal direction of the base.

摘要： A circuit interrupter includes two parallel pivoting contact arms, the lower of which is connected to a stationary conductor member using a clinch-type contact. The contact arm has an axle member rigidly attached thereto which is supported by a bearing member attached to the conductor. In one embodiment, the bearing member comprises a pair of bifurcated arms which are clamped about each end of the axle member. In an alternative embodiment, the conductor member lies generally parallel to the lower contact arm and is slotted to form a pair of elongated conductor arms, each of which supports a journal bearing member. One end of the axle is extended through each journal bearing.

摘要： A contact breaker assembly in which a plate carries a fixed contact, and an insulating heel member mounted for pivotal movement relative to the plate carries a movable contact which is movable into and out of engagement with the fixed contacts. A spring urges the heel member to pivot in a direction to engage the movable contact with the fixed contact. The movable contact is secured to a metal shell which is engaged with the heel member, and the spring is defined by a metal strip, one end of which is engaged in a groove in the heel member. The metal strip and heel member are provided with means to secure the spring and the shell to the heel member.
