The use of an O ring also provides a uniform resistance to the turning of the focusing collar and makes the focusing adjustment shock resistant. In another aspect of the invention, the placement of the light fiber connector on the discardable stop housing improves light transmission and allows one-handed focusing of the eyepiece.

摘要： An endoscope ocular accessory mounting device comprises a mounting body provided at its forward end with a flanged section having a truncated conical cavity for mounting an ocular accessory on an endoscope ocular section. A pair of axially extending slits are formed in the peripheral wall diametrically facing each other across the circular flanged section. A cam plate is swingably fitted into each of the slits. This cam plate is so urged that its inner end cam surface is engaged with the truncated conical rear part of the endoscope ocular section. A pair of push rods penetrate the peripheral wall of a ring member surrounding the flanged section. Each push rod is urged radially to the outside of the ring member and provided with a release button at the outer end. Where the paired push rods are pushed, the inner end of each push rod pushes the outer end cam surface of the cam plate, causing the cam plate to be rotated out of a passage formed in the endoscope ocular section, and consequently enabling the mounting device to be released from the endoscope ocular section. The endoscope ocular accessory mounting device has a simple arrangement and can be operated quickly, easily and unfailingly substantially without failure and manufactured at low cost.

摘要： An endoscope is provided with a main part, an endoscope shaft and an imaging lens system. An imaging lens system includes a correction module, which comprises a splitter unit and a superimposition unit. Light is routed to the correction module via a first beam path, which is split into a first and a second partial beam path by the splitter unit. The splitter unit guides light from the visible spectrum into one of the two partial beam paths and light from the near infrared range into the other partial beam path. The superimposition unit superimposes the light from the two partial beam paths and guides it into a second beam path, coaxial with the first beam path. The optical path lengths of the two partial beam paths for the light from the visible spectrum and the light from the near infrared range are selected such that they are different.

摘要： A system and method for providing light to an optical scope having a lightport. A light device connects a camera to an optical scope and supplies light to the scope while allowing for scope rotation. The light device has a proximal end attached to the distal end of the camera, a distal end adapted to be attached to and detached from the scope, and a light source. The light source may be powered by electrical power received from the camera. A light cable extends from the light device and has a distal end adapted to be attached to and detached from the light post on the scope to supply light to the scope. The distal end of the light device is rotatable with respect to the distal end of the camera such that the light cable is able to rotate about the optical axis of the camera.
