The adhesive film has a glass transition temperature (Tg) of about −20° C. or less, an index of refraction of about 1.40 to about 1.55, and a haze of about 3% or less at a thickness of 100 μm.

摘要： To obtain an elastomeric composite crumb having a majority of the particle size distribution greater than 0.33 cm, the crumb is obtained by a process whereby the elastomeric composite comprises less than about 0.5 phr of a salt of a C8 to C20 carboxylic acid, or 10 to 20 phr of a tackifying resin or a combination of both an absence of carboxylic acid and the presence of the tackifying resin. The use of one or both methods permits control of crumb particle size distribution in emulsion or solution processes for producing elastomeric nanocomposites. The elastomeric composite is also disclosed.

In an exemplary synthetic method, a bio-derived flame retardant block copolymer is prepared by a ring opening polymerization of a biobased cyclic ester and a phosphorus-containing polymer. In some embodiments, the biobased cyclic ester is lactide. In some embodiments, the phosphorus-containing polymer is a hydroxyl-telechelic flame retardant biopolymer prepared by a polycondensation reaction of a biobased diol (e.g., isosorbide) and a phosphorus-containing monomer (e.g., phenylphosphonic dichloride). In other embodiments, the phosphorus-containing polymer is synthesized from a dioxaphospholane monomer.

The composite formulation includes a polymer matrix having at least 15% crystallinity and process-aid-treated copper-containing particles blended with the polymer matrix including higher aspect ratio particles and lower aspect ratio particles. The higher ratio particles and the lower ratio particles produce a decreased percolation threshold for the composite formulation when processed by extrusion or molding, the decreased percolation threshold being compared to a similar composition that fails to include the first particle and the second particles. The electrical component includes a composite product produced from the composite formulation and is selected from the group consisting of an antenna, electromagnetic interference shielding device, a connector housing, and combinations thereof.

The compositions contain a functional layer, such as an adhesive layer, which is applied to the label and a barrier layer which is applied on top of the adhesive layer. The multilayer composition prevents the adhesive layer on the label from interacting with the face of an adjacent label, particularly when the labels are stored as coils or folded stacks.
